Like I personally am not going to use most of the italian planes. But the tech tree kinda forces you to buy them.
Also this is more of a post merge thing but… I have TWO Bf 109 G-6’s and Pz. IV J’s and well I’m never going to use both. I only need the one. And yes they are BOTH tech tree ones. Not premium.
(Also why is the game not letting me sell certain legacy squads? I don’t want or need them anymore, let me have the damn silver.)

I know what I want each squad used for. Certain squads I literally have no use for.
But when I wait my 5 seconds and hit disband for my silver… the game doesn’t.
That’s a bug. And should be fixed. Whether or not it’s a smart idea by some to sell it or no.
And the silver has been insanely useful in supplying my other squads with much needed gear and upgraded weapons.
You will lose that squad forever, you physically can never get them back, at the the benefit of 1 matches worth of silver, its really really really really not worth it.
Even if you dont use those squads now, there is a good chance you will in the future for making lineups, especially for presets.
Its also, weapon upgrades arent as important as people make out, very good to have? Yes! But not needed either, I mean I straight up dont know how you dont have enough silver to outfit a singular line, (Since your not using presets?)
If it were something like 100k, or more, I’d understand.
But just 10k? It’s a scam. It’s 2 or 3 match worth, no more…
I’ve only been here for a year and don’t really know what legacy squads are, but Gaijin should let me buy them off players for that price. All I want from the Victory Silver boxes is old event squads…it’s fun playing different squads. Since they rarely have events for new ones, I’d gladly take any that I could get!
But I also think you should be able to skip over things in the tech tree without buying them…if you do the research that should be enough. Sometimes you want a particular BR5 tank and it’s expensive if you can’t skip a few unwanted ones.

I get 2-2.5k on average or 1.5k for a shitfest.
Also I don’t think you know how MANY legacy squads I have/had.
I said 10k is around 3 match… not a single one.
Also, I do know, as I have all of them in my account, I suppose you also used to have them all since you’re also a veteran from 2021.

What I say is for just 10k, selling those is not worth it. At all. In fact it’s insulting player’s intelligence to offer such a ridiculously low price for their sale.
Better off playing 3-4 match for the same result PLUS keeping the invaluable versatility those squads permit.

I mean I made 10k in the last match I played, but I did score I think 9k score along with using premium squads.
But still, even at 2-3 matches that is more than enough.
And I dont think you know how MANY people would like to have even 1 more legacy squad, I know for one I am very sad I stopped playing for a while when Tunisia was added so I missed out on all the Italian and British squads.

Just a reminder there is no need to reply, you can sell yours and be done with them, then they wont “clog up” your menu. Not to mention you will have no need to get new equipment with all the spares that will drag up, so you can hoard that silver like you were Smaug.

You do know support exists for a reason right? I mean what do you want me to tell you? Its going to be all okay? Did you turn it on and off again? Try unplugging it and blowing on the port? Take a chill pill?
