So there are many weapons which saw service in campaigns but due to how the campaign system works, it is difficult to impossible for them to be added to those campaigns (Thompsons and Bren to Soviet Campaigns, ZB-26 and Breda mod. 30 to German campaigns, etc.). However, those weapons should still be available in those campaigns in some way if people want. Thus, it would interesting if they let us transfer specific weapons between campaigns even if you cannot unlock them in that Campaign. To balance this, you can make it so that you have to reach the equivalent level in the campaign to send them, and not allow upgrades to the weapon in the campaign that receives the guns. However, balance probably won’t be too big of an issue as most of the guns that you can send will likely be bolt actions. In fact, the only gun that might be unbalanced if allowed to be transferred out like this would be the drum Thompson, but even at the level you unlock that gun, you have unlocked other arguably more powerful weapons in the campaigns that you could transfer it to (Federov, M2 Carbine, etc.). Furthermore, this could encourage people to play other campaigns helping to solve the player base split problem as well.
i say it should be things that were actually lend leased like m1 bazooka, m1a1s, and m1 carbines (russia did receive 7 of them)
Yeah, a whole host of things were lend leased including but not limited to:
M1921/28 Thompsons.
M1928A1 Thompsons.
Bren Mk II.
M1 Bazooka.
M1 Carbine.
M50 Reising.
M3 Grease Gun.
We could also get Carcanos and Arisakas in Moscow because they seem to be merging that with Leningrad where the Fins were deployed, and the Fins had both (The Russians also had Arisakas, but I’m not sure how that would play out with the Arisaka premium squad. They could just allow you to transfer the rifle as the carbine is the the one that is the premium squad IIRC)
I don’t know about Lend Lease, but I would be happy to transfer of some obsolete, rare at this point, weapons for late campaigns, like a few vz. 24 to Berlin. Under the same rules as is done with weapons locked in the Stalingrad campaign without full access, you can’t buy or upgrade, but you can transfer already available weapons.
Bazookas to Berlin so we don’t have to use panzerfaust or even PTRS 41
no you would still need it because of the rapid increase in armor protection in berlin
I havent heard of such.
Not in frontline after -1940
Even it most likely aint problem for DF.
It’s M1 bazookas only (unless the devs add the M1A1 at some point), which will struggle against Tigers and Tiger IIs. PTRS will also have issues against the big cats (you might be able to bully the Panther with it though)
Well I WANT a PTRS because it’s the Russians AT weapons they had, I don’t want to use captured
MkB and T-50
Actions speak louder than words
Springfields and shotguns were mostly rear guard weapons for the Yanks. Your point?
You kind of answered to your own question.
Things being used somewhere else or not used at all havent exactly been problem for DF to adding them.
So has there been some actual conversations of leningrad being added to moscow ?
No talk about such a thing, but they have basically already done it in every way that matters, so I’m saying they have.

oK.
I would support this in a limited capacity. Ex - you can only transfer 5 guns to Moscow soviets from Tunisia allies. That way you get some of the lend-lease flavor but are still primarily using soviet weaponry.
I think you should be allowed completely kit out your squads with lend lease equipment, as it would be fun to in Moscow run say one squad with Arisakas, one squad with Ross Rifles, one squad with Winchesters, etc. However, I can see where you are coming from
While I love that idea (weapon variety is a huge bonus of this game). I think we risk each campaign losing its identity. It would be super fun to run around with all kinds of weaponry, but you should be forced to use at least some of the weaponry you unlock in that campaign, so each campaign still feels at least somewhat distinct outside of the maps/uniforms.
PTRS-41 is completely useless against late war tanks unless you hop on top of the tank
Shoot side or track, easy
Side of Panther is 50mm
PTRS-41 penetrates 40mm
Doesn’t matter, I wanna use PTRS
