There isnt really a lot of point in choosing “Join any team” at the moment. Depending on the playerbase shifting between factions, you’ll usually just be placed in one team over and over, for example I think right now you only get put as Japan since they are lacking players. I’d also like to suggest adding a checkbox to allow “Join in progress” to matches. When people desert matches and the game is going, empty slots are only filled with bots. I think it would be cool and fun for more games to stay full of all 10v10 players. To add an incentive for people to choose these options, I suggest the following:
- Add a small experience bonus to these options. Something like a 10% or 25% experience multiplier depending on which option(s) apply. This would have a great impact on a few things. Queue times would be reduced. Secondly, teams will be full of a lot more human players, which I find more exciting. Thirdly, earning exp and silver in this game still takes forever! I’d be totally down to earn 10%/20% - 25%/50% more experience and silver. If more players made use of these options, we would experience more variety as players by playing with different factions and in different maps!
