Im pretty sure the muzzle velocity should be like 840m/s not 730m/s

Nevermind… it depends on the bullet used
730m/s is correct however with:
162 gr (10 g) Type 92 armor-piercing cartridge it would be 820 m/s
Considering its Tier 4 compared to M1 Garand at Tier 3, i think it should get the higher velocity round.

Type 38 Carbine - 19.2 inch barrel , 6.5x50SR = 730m/s
Type 38 Rifle - 31 inch barrel , 6.5x50SR = 770m/s
Type Ko Rifle - 26 inch barrel, 6.5x50SR = ???m/s
Type Otsu Rifle - 22 inch barrel, 6.5x50SR = ???m/s
Type Hei Rifle - 23 inch barell, 6.5x50SR = ???m/s
Type Otsu probably has roughly 740m/s
Type Hei probably has roughly 745m/s
Type Ko probably has roughly 755m/s
660m/s is just plain wrong…
Furthermore it would suck to finally get the Type Ko Sniper Rifle at Tier III, only for it to have 660m/s muzzle velocity instead of 755m/s
I decided to review Ian McCollum’s reviews on Japanese rifles, and in the Type Ko rifle vidio at 13 minutes into the vidio he says that no WW2 Japanese scope fits the Type Ko.
It actually really surprised me. On the other hand, could Ian McCollum have been wrong?
In fact, a very similar sight can be seen on the Type Otsu and the self-loading rifle of the Kokura Arsenal.
But I have to admit there are differences from the Type 97 sniper rifle. They’re still similar, though.
Also Zwershitz Andrei (aka LAUTLESEN), a Russian expert on Japanese weapons, says that it was possible to mount on the Type 97 sight. However, I’m not sure that the Type Hei automatic rifle in our game has the correct model, on the photo you can see the same latch as on the Type 97 sniper rifle.
As Type Hei rifles do not have this latch.
It’s all too complicated and confusing. But also Zwershitz Andrei says that Type Ko was equipped with Type 97 sight.
It’s not clear who’s wrong. It is known from Japanese literature that Type Ko, Type Hei and Type Otsu were equipped with telescopic sights.
