then make only japs have it now muahahaha
Well I suggested at least give type 96 to our paras same as the US have BAR for theirs…
cool concept
Not with its current stats, If it was nerfed to fit other BR 2 lmgs then yes.
Well this is a concept how the faction will look finished not a balance tread
ZB has a faster fire rate but a lower magazine, worse dispersion, worse recoil than the 96 and has a slower reload
against the Type 99 it’s slightly lower rpm, same dispersion and slightly better recoil while having a smaller magazine and a faster reload
bren versus 96: 96 has better recoil, better dispersion, better firerate while having same magazine size and a faster reload
bren versus: 99: 99 has better rpm, same dispersion as the mk2 (worse than the mk1 by .01) almost identical recoil (same vertical but 18 horizontal versus 19 of the 99) slower reload and same magazine size
Okay, I took a break for more than two months and came back.
I don’t even know where to start.
Your photo shows a Type 1 machine gun, not a Type 3. It was created after the Type 99 by Tokyo Gas Electric Industry. Two versions were made, let’s call them Type 1 Ko and Type 1 Otsu. So, the Otsu modification differed from the Ko modification only by the presence of a rear support.
Type 1 Ko:
Type 1 Otsu:
There are also photos of some modifications:
The weapon was loaded with rigid belts similar to those used by the Type 92. That is, its capacity is only 30 rounds. Let’s also take into account that the Japanese were not very fond of machine guns with a high rate of fire.
In general, it should be a machine gun similar to the Hotchkiss M1922 machine gun.
I will also note that I have not seen any evidence of the possibility of attaching a bayonet to the Type 1.
That’s the only one with 3d model and you are correct when you link 3x30 rounds its 90 same way in game we have MG 42 with 100 rounds running around what’s the difference really? they can be linked you can link them you can see on the image every 30 can be linked none of the general purpose machine guns in game are operated how they are operated in reality the MG 42 has like 15 bullets in it less then 30
How this
Is different then this:
What?
You can’t connect rigid belts, unlike loose metal belts like the MG 42. And fabric belts were actually made long, while rigid belts were made a maximum of 30 rounds long, and there were even shorter ones, and there were reasons for that.
From what I see you can connect the standard ones at 30 and there is some 50 but from what I have seen you can connect every 30 I was looking exactly for someone that can explain me why you cant connect them ? Even on the picture that you posted there is a pin for connection or its not ?
Yes exactly that’s why i listen from them that its different then MG 42 but i don’t see how its different since you can link them. Cuz from what i have seen you can link them without a problem.
No, you can’t, the most you could see on video is how during shooting from Type 3 or Type 92 one of the machine gun crew members feeds 30 cartridge belts without stopping, which allows for continuous shooting. You can see this in this video at 3 minutes and at 3 minutes 15 seconds.
And if a 100 cartridge belt can be wrapped around you or something else, a 60 cartridge rigid belt will take up large dimensions. A 90 cartridge belt will be simply gigantic in length!
And finally, even 30-round rigid belts bend, while a 90-round belt will most likely simply break under its own weight when a soldier with a machine gun moves.
Yes his linking them without a problem same way in game we run with 100 round mg 42 its same logic …
There is the one with the bag option but I dont think Japan used it. But in reality having this thing loaded with 90 round and moving is as realistic as moving with 100 round belt with mg 42
It would still be a little funny to see For a belt machine gun there is the Type 97 it seems to me it would be perfect for rank 5 Thanks for the video !
WHERE DOES HE CONNECT THEM!?!?!
Please provide a screenshot.
It would be great to know more about the Type 4 machine guns. They could potentially be great machine guns for the 5th BR.
he locks them on the top of the pin and continues firing every 30 have a connection pin or its not ?
As you can see is the same normally they are fired by 2 people :
This is all great, of course, but one way or another, a rigid tape cannot be combined into one.
I’m not saying that they can be I’m saying that they where operated the same way and if we have 100 round mg 42 what’s the difference then this since they are operated and used absolutely the same. That’s why since we have General purpose machine gun why use some aircraft one?
And since you are here you can check my other topic you can help me there also :
