Japanese are suffering too much right now (everyone playing americans)

I just want to be another voice reporting how utterly unbalanced the game is right now in the Pacific Campaign. Everyone is playing Americans, to the point where one constantly gets matches with fully-manned American teams playing against an All-Bots Japanese side.

This might be starting to cause harm to the campaign and to the players experience. It’s just not fun when things are unbalanced like that and one faction ALWAYS wins. And when people notice it, then they stop playing the japanese at all, because there is no point and it’s not fun to always lose (plus it is extremely hard to grind).

People are playing americans for good reason (better rifles, better smgs, better lmgs, etc.), I could foresee the lack of balance when people talked about a Pacific Campaign, and I even suggested an eventual Pacific campaign to be set in Burma to better balance the factions.

I don’t know what could be done about this, other than adding a matchmaking system to Enlisted (which is a thing that is becoming more and more necessary over time, on all campaigns), and measures like battlepass tasks encouraging people to play Pacific Axis, event rewards for playing the Japanese, and powerful weapons for newly-added levels to encourage people to grind. But, however, something NEEDS to be done about it soon, before the campaign starts to suffer and become unfunny to play.

Not impossible to win as Japanese but it requires more competent players and I was just lucky on this that 5 American players started deserting after losing the first cap although lots of brute force happened in the process.

Enlisted here’s a replay of this battle and see what my team have done and at which point American players started deserting.

Can we just agree one for all that Japanese equipment is much worse than what Allied faction has to offer here?
And that have nothing to do with “Skill issues”, “Nazi Propaganda” etc.

The only thing that matters is fast Devs response.

Look at the engineer points of your teammates. They didn’t build a damn thing other than 1 guy who didn’t do much while the top player did build most.

There’s no denying Japanese weapons especially vehicles are worse but there are cases that a competent team can do wonders and up to luck at times like you are lucky if the American team have so many deserters. You can watch that replay what happened on my part.

I just don’t like their weapons. Especially their BA, if I’m not comfortable with their primary rifle then I won’t play that side. Although I didn’t unlock the type 99, i know it has more damage and “better” sights

1903 v 38 carbine: same gun same shitty sights
1903a1 v 38 rifle: both 1 shot, 38 has better pull time with the same sights as mosin nagant dragoon and the winchester

a3 v 97: 97 gets a slower pull time and less zoom but gets the ability to have both iron sights and a scope at the same time with a faster reload, a3 cannnot enjoy this

m13v ta-se: both can pen the top tier tanks up to some distance though ta-se is a bit more survivable thanks for it having a strong enclosed hull

reising v mp34(o): mp34(o) gets a bayonet and more ammo in the magazine at the cost of 50 rounds a minute and weaker damage when compared to reising

p14 enfield v type italian: both are bolt actions that have similar pull times and both are pretty much just side grades to the starting rifles

seagull v adichi: adichi is leagues better than seagull as seagulls only upside is the offensive MG but at the cost of being slow, extremely pitiful payload for an attacker, and an airframe so fucking weak that 8mm nambu can easily down it

boys ATR v type 97 ATR: type 97 is the clear winner here as it’s a 20mm that will fuck up any american tanks while boys does struggle to take out ta-se and ha-go for some reason

m3 grease gun v type 100: type 100 gets a bayonet, same ammo in the mag and a fires 70 rounds a minute faster than grease gun for the cost of damage, mhm i think type 100 is objectively better

ww1 BAR v type 11: type 11 gets more ammo in clip but is reloaded retardedily (aka stripper clip reload) but loses 100 rpm compared to the ww1 BAR, though both should be used a semi autos for the best effect

mortar v mortar: literally the same weapon for both sides

m2a4 v ha-go: both will get raped, ha-go can fit in trench while m2 gets stuck, ha-go is also better at taking out tanks with a successful penetration shot doing more damage thanks to this magical invention called filler in AP rounds though m2a4 is better at anti infantry because of those many MGs since 37mm HE is laughably bad

m1c v type hei: type hei has much more damage, enough to actually fucking down people, a bayonet and better accuracy than m1c though m1c gets more ammo in the clip to offset the damage and 30 more rpm if both are fully upgraded with default difference being 60

shotgun v sword: both are situational though the sword is the better pick since it replaces a niche weapon instead of a more viral weapon, works more consistently and allows for faster travel

Buffalo v Claude (yes that is a5m4’s calling name): this is a clear 1 sided match in fair of buffalo as it’s better for A2A and has some ordnance, all though these are weapon

Garand v type 99: these 2 fit different roles that they excel at with garand being cqc focus and 99 for distance though 99’s ability to insta kill with a shot does help it do decent in cqc both gets bayonets

flamer 1 v flamer 1: literally the same weapon again but reskinned

owen v mp28: mp28 is an endurance weapon while owen is hip firing cqc beast though the 50 rounds per mag does help mp28 hold it’s on in cqc

dauntless v val: both are equal though val is more nimble and has better small bombs, while dauntless gets better large bomb and dauntless is slightly better a2a if tailing because .50 cals

m1903 with m1 rifled grenades v 38 rifle with rifle grenades: as rifles go 38 is better because of the pull time with equally bad sights, though you are probably aren’t using them as rifles with rifled grenades being literally the same

A4 v sniper 99: 99 gets the same benefits as 97 same downsides too, same goes with the A4 too

Wildcat v zero: if you are talking about strictly ground pounding then zero is better than wildcat, a2a zero is better at turn fighting though doesn’t have the ammo endurance for longer downsides so extreme trigger discipline or else you will have the 7.7 to back you up

BARa2 v type 97: type 97 is scoped with 50 rpm less than A2, A2 has the fastest reload in this game with only pistols rivaling the speed of reload, A2 will likely be the go to LMG for most allied players so allies would win this 1

bazooka v type 5 “tube”: type is literally a bazooka with better penetration and better anti infantry abilities, though bazooka has some benefits such as the sights for noobs (same velocity as type 5) and better reload

johnson rifle v otsu: ostu has faster reload, the fastest rpm for any semi auto in this game with a bayonet to boot while johnson gets 2 more rounds than garand but at the cost the second longest reload, g41 beating it for slowest reload, for any semi auto, a bayonet and type 1 smg sights

m3 v ke-ni: ke-ni doesn’t have much armor but gets APHE and is pretty small to boot, both will get raped by SPAAG

flamer 2 v flamer: more reskins YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!, seriously this is the 3rd lvl where both sides unlocks are literally the same

m1a1 tommy v type2a: pretty much the same gun and fill the same role

johnson lmg v type 96: johnson lmg is a difficult lmg to master for most as it’s 900rpm plus the 20 round box means trigger discipline is a priority to learn while the type 96 gets a comfortable 550 rpm with a 30 round magazine and a bayonet

so en grade

M13 iz better because it shoots many bullets and rapes everything

it’s also a very fragile because no armor to completely protect the crew

If you miss with it you can easily keep shooting. If ha go misses its done for, against a freaking AA vehicle

never said how it’s fragile with the lvl 5 unlock being able to basically put it out of commission and the 60 kilos just out right killing it (jap planes are reallly strong in this campaign with the exception of a5m4)

M13 sucks at shooting planes down because the dumb overheating, but it still decimates infantry and tanks alike.

Problem isn’t equipment. People flocked to Japanese team for cool new stuff then switched to Americans. It’s player migration that kills balance

I have stopped playing Pacific and TBH having the best time playing Axis Moscow at the moment.

Are you all playing in na server? Japan is decent in europe servers
