I think Japan should get some unique stuff, like those camo suits with leaves you see Japanese snipers wearing in photos, maybe more stamina while charging with a sword, etc.
Yeah I played quite a few matches of Pacific allies today and the Japs didnāt have a chance. 99% of the teams I was on had at least 5 gold rank players, meanwhile Japs were lucky to have even 1. Some matches were basically full gold rank team curb stomps. (I think a lot of Berlin players play as Pacific Allies, Iāve noticed a lot of familiar names from sweaty Berlin matches)
Seems no one really plays Japan. I wonāt switch over to Japan until Iāve grinded US out.
There is only one way to reverse the balance now and we know by historty it already worked in Berlin and Normandy:
ITS A DOG SHIT GAME that doesnāt care about if player enjoy the game or now
Heavy Tank No.6 vs M13 and Stuart Banzai!
You only insults me biased trashbag, you are not even able to do it properly.
From your statments itās clear for me that you didnāt unlocked most of Axis weapons there.
Let me do comparison for you.
- Springfield 1903 vs 38 Carabine: I donāt like any of them, this is a matter of preference.
- Springfield 1903A1 USMC vs 38 Rifle: Arisaka is better for me in this comparison, i prefer standard Springfield over A1.
- Springfield 1903A3 vs Arisaka 97: Also a matter of preference, some would prefer Springfield, some Arisaka.
- M13 vs Ta-Se: The difference here is INCREDIBLY HUGE, Ta-Se is utter shit that you can snipe entire crew with Springfield from the front, M13 have like 20 times better density of fire even with fast overheating, most gunes overpen M13 in this game which results in no damage on successful hits. Also Ta-Se struggles with M2A4 in some angles and with M3 overall, where M13 only struggles vs Ka-Chi, as any other US vehicle there. Besides fucking M13 have 300 rounds magazines and is capable of penetreting tanks and most obstacles, itās the best all-purpose vehicle in this campaign.
- Reising vs S-100: both sucks in my taste, since small buff they are quite similiar overall.
- Enfield P14 vs Type 1: I would prefer Enfield any time to this rifle.
- SOC-1 vs E13A1: Both are extremly fragile, SOC-1 have better AA capabilities due to machinegun, where E13A1 is defencless with 2xtimes better payload.
- Boys vs Type 97 ATR: Japan have much better ATR rifle, except both ATR struggles sometime but this is game problem with hit indication and overpenetration.
- M3 Grease Gun vs Type 100 (early): M3 is a mile better gun, Type 100 sucks compared to M3
- BAR 1918 vs Type 11 LMG: BAR is much better rifle, they are not even comparable, Type 11 sucks extremly here, I stay away from this rifle becouse of terrible spread that happens usually even when you one tap it. I find BAR best small arm for entire campaign, especially A2 version.
- 2-Inch vs Type 98: They are the same.
- M2A4 v Ha-Go: I own both of them, Ha-Go is one of the worst tanks in the game and a joke overall compared to M2A4. Ha-Go donāt have usable MG from commander position, besides this MG sucks and have 17 clips in mags xD, meanwhile M2A4 have 5x 7.62 MGs, itās a meat grinder! Ha-Go have no armor at all with this 6mm frontal, M2A4 have a bit better armor, that is capable to reflect ATR shots sometimes. Ha-Go 37mm gun is worse than M5 37mm, it has much worse trajectory, but still both those tanks can pen each other.
- M1 Carabine v Type Hei Rifle: Hei rifle sucks especially with those 5rounds clips. M1 Carabine is much better weapon, i prefer it over M1 Garand in Normandy. Itās efective CQ weapon in Pacific that is still capable to fight at longer distances.
- Browning Auto 5 vs Type 95 Shin Gunto: Browning 5 is much better, Gunto is just a meme weapon, stick with your bayonetā¦
- F2A-3 vs A5M4: Buffalo is one of the best fighters in this campaign, this one is equal to A6M2. A5M4 is a joke and should be counterpart to F2A-1 version.
- M1 Garand vs Type 99 (late): Type 99 is from my taste worst BA rifle in this campaign, thereās no reason to use it. M1 Garand is much better than Type 99, itās one of the best general purpose weapons for USA. Iām replacing every Springfield with Garandsā¦NO, they are not comparableā¦
- M1A1 Flamethrower vs Type 93: they are the same.
- Owen v MP28 7.65mm: I used both, Owen is better by a mile than this version of MP28. I tried to use it many times but this guns sucks, and even those 50 rounds mags donāt save it. I donāt find Owen good gun but definitly better than this MP28.
- SBD-3 vs D3A1: Dauntless is better at any aspect except overall acceleration, better guns, better bombload, better defensive armament, more nimbleā¦just a batter plane overall.
M1903 with GL vs 38 Rifle with GL: I prefer 38 Rifle, itās best general purpose rifle for Japanese side
Springfield 1903A4 v Arisaka 99 Sniper: they are almost the same as previous ones, didnāt used them much. - F4F vs A6M2: I prefer zero overall, but they are comparable.
- BAR 1918A2 vs Type 97: They are not even comparable, as i mentioned BAR 1918A2 is best rifle available in this campaign and I spam it as much as possible. Type 97 is bugged, joke weapon as all Japanese MGās are in this game.
- M1 Bazooka vs Type 5 Launcher: I find them similiar, i killed both tanks and infantry with them.
- Johnson Rifle vs Type Otsu Rifle: Otsu is as bad as Hei rifle is, thus i would stick with 38 Rifle anyway. Johnson is much better general purpose rifle overallā¦they are not comparable.
- M3 Stuart vs Ke-Ni: M3 is much better than Ke-Ni. This is a joke that they even considered Ke-Ni instead of Chi-Ha as top vehicle for Japan there. M3 Stuart have much better armor, have better MG and a bit better gun. Clear winner.
- M2 Flamethrower vs Type 100: They are the same. M2 is more visually pleasing as itās more iconic.
- M1A1 Thompson vs Type2A SMG: Thompson is much better for me, especially with higher damage and overall DPS value. Type2A is the first usable SMG for Japan.
- Johnson LMG vs Type 96 LMG: I said it before, all japanese LMGs sucks in this campaign. Meanwhile Johnson is FG42-II LMG equivalent for Pacific Campaign without any recoil, with very good damage, quite bad sights and 20 rounds magsā¦they are not comparable.
I just joined a couple days ago, and every campaign I tried had a faction imbalance (on the Euro server), even with the MM apparently stacking a couple more players on the loser side. Germans steamroll in Normandy, and Berlinā¦ well, itās pretty much historical. Given that the winning team gets extra XP, I really donāt see the point in ever playing the loser side unless a daily task requires it. Something should be done to get experienced players playing those factions.
This entire wall of text is based on your opinion
Japanese equipment is more than adequate for the job given and as someone who plays them can say they really only suffer lack of playerbase.
They lose out a bit in pure CQC but the campaign is mostly mid to long range so it doesnāt matter that much
this needs poster on how to properly enlist
uncle Mitsuoke wants you !
what squads do you use? omg !!!
so many killsā¦
there is no mid to long range campaign based.
all of them have cap points = so all of them need people on point to defend it
type 99 late is SHIT.
slowest rate of fire.
you would be killed after the first shot.
best sights but at what cost ?
and is a 5 star weapon so 2 silver orders and the cost to upgrade
it is a joke.
arisaka38 is the best rifle
Yes, but the majority of the time youāre punching people on their way in or on your way in which mitigates the slight lack in RoF Japanese forces can put out.
Either way I regularly defend the cap with bolts so its not like its a real issue unless youāre a monkey who only compares on paper stats
i defend the cap with pistols
i never had to use the pistol in other campaigns the way i use it in the pacific.
dont like to use the boltie in cqc, specially when my enemy have thompsons.
pistols need a buff in cqc combat.
I just hipfire with it, it hits dead center of your screen
I honestly donāt buy pistols ever since they got rid of the random rolls for bronze since iām not wasting silvers on sidearms
all japanese pistols cost 1 silver order.
event the last one.
that is why i bought them
Iāve noticed that and when Iām finished with both sides and can save up silvers Iāll probably deck my guys out, but for now Iām relying on whatever i get from new squads
How is it you understand this, but havenāt put together that when Pacific first dropped, everyone grinded Axis first and now people are switching over to Allies because they finished with Axis. Are you seriously this mentally slow, or do you have a degree in double think or something?
Okey, letās put it simple for your biased brain to understand.
People started with Japan (Axis) overall, around 80% playerbase i guess.
Some of those people maxed out campaigns, but most of them donāt.
Then most people that were playing Axis switched to Allied side, some that maxed out entire campaign (only few %), and some that were pissed of overall equipment difference.
THEN most new players tried both side and choose Allied side becouse they have better starting equipment and overall possible unlocks in the long run, just better.
ALSO most people that maxed out this campaign (both sides) choose to stay on Allied side becouse their gear is much more interesting and better overall.
My guy, it has been 3 weeks since Pacific dropped, you canāt say anything about the long run.
