The enemy was using KT and I was using Super Pershing, a br5 match, but look here, crusader? Does the game expect a crusader to fight KT? I remember the game giving Jumbo in this situation.
I see the same problem with Germany: (it used to give pzIV H)

And of course, if you look closely, this tank is on the enemy side XD, because I had a tiger e, I couldn’t test whether it would actually spawn from that side or not.

Yes, this has been out for a long time and I am aware of it, but I think you didn’t read my text completely, this feature has encountered a bug that I have fully explained.

There is a bug with the BR of battles currently, like AT gun used to be only the low BR one regardless of the current BR. Same for paratroopers’ box. This was partially solved, but not entirely though

Also, not rally related, but the Jumbo will struggle has much as the crusader against a KT to be honest… Imo this feature has a good intention but is mostly useless. Almost all the replacement tank are not really good against other tanks…

Funny that in order to be able to replace your tank the enemy needs to have a tank active but the replacement is a panzer 4 E with even worse pen than the BR 1 tanks you have acces too.

Yes, but sometimes I use the Jumbo, sometimes I don’t want to engage tanks and the T26 is not strong against infantry.

your “replacement” tank is not meant to bully infantry, its meant to give you a fighting chance against enemy tanks so they cant spawn lock your team or similar things.

Sometimes the enemy has their tank camped in a bad spot and is doing nothing, not destroying it is a great favor to the team, because they have wasted an important slot for their team.

that is best case scenario, worst case scenario that you cant even get to objective because two KV-1 (L-11) or Tiger II H are too strong for your uptiered team.

Im saying that the replacement tank was added to help people that are stuck with a BR1 tank against a BR3 tank or similar scenarios, since BR3 tanks can have strong armour and good gun with powerful HE which can easily control large areas of the map, if the opposing team is made of mostly BR1 players than they wont have a tank strong enough to deal with that which is why the replacement tank was added.
A good feature ruined by illogical picks since tanks such as Panzer IV E or Jumbo wont help much in the described scenario.

In short: its just to prevent invincible tanks. Darkflow, doesnt want tanks to be undestroyable while they can kill lower BR players easily.

Yeah, replacement tanks are bugged similar to how paratrooper crates/at gunners were
