I really love the PIATs and anti-tank weapons in general. Wondering if the Bazooka is a noticeable improvement. Also does the Bazooka have any anti-infantry capability, the PIAT has none.
Suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated.
Honesty not really. Its great for dealing with Pumas but I find the PIAT to be far more effective with a little aiming practice for any of the actual enemy tanks. The bazooka is pretty weak just like it was in real life when compared to things like the panzerfaust. Its only real benefit is the flatter trajectory and improved range
And no they have almost no effect on infantry just like every other AT weapons
Its a trade-off. Bazooka has better range and a less AIDS trajectory than the PIAT. Yet, it deals less damage, costs more silver and I think it also has less pen power too.

The PIAT can pen 4 inches and the bazooka 3 inches. Would also add that the bazooka has a smaller projectile so even when you do penetrate it will do less than the PIAT.

None of the antitank weapons really have much capacity against infantry, except of course for the AT rifles. I’m guessing the reasoning is that they wanted stuff like the bazooka to actually fill their historic niche, of taking out armor, and not end up being the go to weapon against infantry in a bunch of situations.
No it’s just a Grb39 with worse pen
AT weapons, especially the panzerfaust were using in anti infantry roles. Especially clearing out buildings/bunkers.

Sure, but the reason they were issued out was generally for taking out vehicles, which is not how most fps’s tend to work. The rocket launcher tends to just be “Really slow projectile that can be dodged but kills everyone around where it hits”, which isn’t really historic either. Having high velocity and high splash damage would make it kinda dumb to deal with.
As is, they are sometimes helpful for anti infantry, if they’re packed together close enough, which I think is fine.

I said the anti infantry part because I thought that the panzershreck was op (against infantry) in CBT, and I see the Bazooka as a slightly smaller panzershreck
I am not sure what is worse the Americans calling everything M1, or the Germans literally calling their weapons things like, Gun 43, Machine pistol 40, and my personal favorites Tank fist and Tank fright.
all european nation call weapons like that (I think even outside of europe) only the americans want to do the alternative

True, but have to admit that getting handed a tube and your sergeant calling it the tank fist is pretty funny.
