Is it me or does progression seem to take forever?

  1. today we’ve made an update to exp rewards in battles, in a result players should start to get significantly more exp on average, and also it should be much easier to get more exp for a battle with higher than average score

  2. battle exp rewards are still in development, in future we are planning to add more mechanics that will reward better plays in general and also some specific battle achievements

Thats a plus for the guys complaining.
Imo that was good how it was. I did had 7000 h on heroes and generals to have everything possible on the game. Hundreds of generals and all soldiers have with every single possible combination.And was worth the time.
The more i have to Work for a thing ingame them more i play.but thats just

To me is says more about design choice they are going with

Speaking about the RNG, the first open alpha test did “unlock weapons” a lot differently & was consistent however it had it problems, basically weapons unlocks were tide to individual squads, it was only a one line doing down which would have grenades, pistols & rifles.

The problem with it was that it was really inconsistent when it comes to benefiting that squad, like the Sniper would have only one another sniper rifle (or scoped) & so on & it was in fact under developed but yet you know what you are getting. Had they focused or adopted that idea instead of the lootbox system & further developed it it would have been for the best but alas why bother not artificially creating problems.

imo a fast progression game where everything is easy to get its a boring game overall.

but thats just me. that was just my opinion. i prefer to work for my stuff. not give me everything on a plate and thats it.

i like new xp economy, but in my opinion there should be hidden tasks in battle that reward players for making them, for example +1500 additional xp for 100 kills except xp you got for every of this kills

As much I want to agree with the statememt how it can be fun to grind so it feels you’ve accomplished something. Problem is the fact the game also has to make the classes you have fun to use. By allowing us players to earn new weapons or squadmembers overtime for the classes we use and improve em as times on. However due to the lackluster of weapons and new soldiers we receive in the crates or aka. “Loot boxes” as I call them. It becomes less fun overtime, which decreases the will of actually grinding for the new clases. Because you know damn well it will be the same situation all over again to earn new weapons and squadmembers with the same poor loot drop from the boxes. By decreasing grinding, it will become more fun for the player to acquire a large variety of play style they choose to fit. While having the loot boxes and new squadmembers as a secondary/optional goal later on.

I think their should also be a small xp boost (nothing crazy, just 5 or 10%) for choosing to que as any team. After all more people queuing as either team means we get shorter que times, and constantly swapping between leveling the allied and axis side means it takes longer before you get access to higher level equipment

Well its not only you that call them that, its known in this universe to all living in it. The problem of what you are suggesting is not possible is because the lootbox system (Logistics) is the backbone to the progression system, a good grind rate or not existent even will only be short lived if it will yield any fun & although I’m not disagreeing that giving player the possibility of getting the different infantry divisions at a good rate to pick what they like.

Even with that it will remain the fact that the limiting factor for potential for this game is the lootbox system (Logistics) as you cannot turn around it & even if you are inconveniencing yourself for as little to no gain at all.

Speaking of “Lone Fighters” make it more like war thunder realistic battle, with double XP. so far is good i think

Mate, there was zero reason to necro an old thread like this.

Back on the Alpha test, I had almost reached level 13 (Mortar squad I believe) and then the major update hit and reset everything, I felt so miffed, I spent along time to get there, just to result in being back at square one, it was a hit to my gut, and now, my goal (Mortar squad/Pz IIIB) seems so far away, and I wasn’t home on the double xp weekend, so Im stuck at the slow grind :frowning:

Selling the game would also help prevent cheaters, and god knows Easy Anti Cheat is garbage enough.

Just too many upgrades to do in Enlisted and so few points to go round. You have upgrades not only for each soldier type, weapon type but also it applies for each campaign! Then it is also for Axis and Allies!
Give us a break if we play either Axis or Allies let the upgrades apply across all campaigns for same weapon, soldiers types. I mean they are the same armies whether in Russia for France so they did use the same weapons and have the same troop types. This is what sucks the life out of players just too many upgrades for the same thing! I would play more campaigns and enjoy the game greater rather than putting up with the constant upgrade. Don’t worry Gaijin you will still get money from those who like to short cut the game perhaps more if you make it worth their while.
