The NKVD forces were like other divisions during the war, they are notorious for the Great Purge that preceded the war.

but still with their crimes in their back oh, they are in the game, and I am not only speaking of event one, I mean the base ones in TT too, it sounds for me hipocrital we can allow for ones but no for others, a crime is a crime for me, some are bigger than others, and japs did the worst ones, but in fairness it should be in the game because if we have 2 nation monsters we should allow the japs and wait a moment I forget about all the allied warcrimes (special mention to canada) and here it’s one example during the war for soviets OH NO, delete the NKVD squads then because they did horrible things, right?

Dont compare US and SU crimes to the horror the Japs and Germans inflicted. Dont forget they were the agressors and then did the worst shit.
Fire bombing and shit at least has a strategic aspect, cant say the same for choping of babies heads.
Even Soviet crimes, horrible as the were, had a strategic purpose, slaughtering jews Chinese civilians simply did not.
Thats why Jap and German militairies are considered so much worse

see the issue here is you want the gasmasks, I mean fair, they look cool, but so many other units used them, 731 wasnt a frontline unit and saw no notable combat.
Adding 731 would be like adding the sonderkommando, its just dumb, you could request so many different units that would look the exact same minus the connotations of 731.
No one is saying dont add war crime units, because if they were, youd have to remove the japanese faction. We have gone over this before.

You always attempt to somehow frame the actions of the japanese as justified or at least “just what people did at the time” despite the fact, there is clear empirical evidence that isnt the case. Mengele is about as close as the germans got the actions of 731, and even then he is somehow is made to look merciful compared to them.
Not one person here denies how horrible the war crimes of other nations have been, but your continued persistence to push for the inclusion of a non combat unit whose name is synonymous with the worst man can be is frankly baffling. Its no different than adding Mengele as a GO/BP medic.
This is only more confusing by the fact, its clear you only want them because of their actions, since as pointed out above, that gasmask was issued all over and would fit far better with an event flamethrower squad for example.
Also sorry to OP for having the thread derailed like this. Indian and Gurkha squads deserve far more recognition in terms of the service they gave during WW2. I mean the Kukri seems like an ideal event knife for the Gurkhas.
Personally Id like to see them included in a mountain fighters type update, maybe some sort of mountaineer squad which can build a mountain gun as a form of support fire but otherwise being mostly riflemen. The QF 3.7 Howitzer sounds like a good shout for an Indian squad like that.
Maybe a Chindit guerrilla squad? Could be a good excuse to add the No.5 rifle, aka the “jungle carbine”.
Sikh representation would be cool as well.
