Honestly total Soviet W, even looking at loses, considering you had the likes of Rehzev to compare to at this point, a great victory, one of the 3 turning points of the war imo, itself, Victory in NA and the Battle of Midway.

Normally one looks to the 3 suns rising above Japan to the cause of their surrender, especially considering how much of a disprganised mess the Kwantung forces were, and how poorly equipped they were, honestly I could go on forever shit talking them, fuck the imperial japs, they got off way too lightly.
Saying all that, you are dumb if you say the Soviet Union was not one of the main reasons for an overall allied victory in WW2. Though only in equal part to the US who also joined “fashionably late” and frankly the UK, I think many of us, myself included, forget quite how much the UK contributed to total allied Victory all in all.

Its very detailed and Manchuria was very important to Japan since Japan don’t have resources to this day. That’s why they needed to expand militaristically in the first place it was the most important conquest Japan made:

While Japan had some iron ore reserves, they were limited, and the country depended on imports, particularly from China and British Malaya, for the majority of its supply. Shōwa Steel Works, established in Manchuria, was a major producer of iron and steel, but it also relied on imported ore. So as you can imagine without this territorial expansions there was not going to be Japanese Empire since majority of the resources needed by Japan came exactly from this 2 places. Imperial Japanese Navy and Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) where separated US fought mainly the Navy and The Imperial Japanese Army had significantly more soldiers than the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. So do the math. Majority of the Japanese Army was defeated well by China… You should realize that majority of the Japanese army was not in the pacific. Japan would not just split majority of its forces in China if China was not more important then the pacific. Compare Battle of Wuhan with any US Japanese engagement and do the math …

Well yes Battle of Wuhan is the biggest WW 2 battle that Japan fought during WW 2 much bigger then any other engagement they had. That’s why I aways wanted to have more mainland China battles in Enlisted. Very interesting locations.

Operation Ichi-Go was the biggest operation Japan ever made. Just compare the Battle of Wuhan with Battle of Okinawa.

They destroyed 300-600 Soviet tanks and some where even IS-2 tanks. Not to mention big part of the Japanese Army was supported and recruited from Chinese warlords. But even this battle was much smaller then Wuhan battle. However the lost of IS-2 tanks is reported only by the Japanese side. The Soviets never said they lost so its a bit unclear. But soviets also used old tanks like BT 5,BT 7 and T 26 even not only T-34 and SU 100. So the Soviet Army was mix it was not the newest equipment only.

i am just saying if the ussr claims to have done the most to defeat Germany i would believe them. if they claimed to have done the most to defeat Japan i would give them the number of a good phycologist.
Well absolutely not China and United States sacrificed the most against Japan. USSR had minor casualties during this operations compared to the European theater. I really wish they make Battle of Mutanchiang in Enlisted sadly we cant get Wuhan very interesting battle.

WW2 was a big enough war for everybody to have a piece. Uk, US, ussr, Italy, Japan Germany and many more tens of millions of soldiers and civilians died. There are still a lot of corners of WW2 to be explored.

Well compared to Germany and Japan they had far less war crimes. Soviet Union had more comparable war crimes to the western allies carpet bombings and nuclear bombings. Not to mention after the war many war criminals and their families escaped justice and to this day this companies are run by the same families. Just look at Mitsubishi , Sumitomo Group,Mitsui Group and on the German side Krupp, Daimler-Benz, and BMW this is same companies that profited from the war and guess what happened after the war. Well nothing they where given no punishment for the terrible war crimes they sponsored. Its hard to point the finger only on USSR.
