they were dying to america tank, panes, ships and subs, america that fought three times as many over 5 years and killed many more soldiers sailor and pilots. HyperWar: Japanese Naval and Merchant Shipping Losses During World War II
2 years, or 33% of the war isnt normally considered the beginning, especially for a war that we tend to forget they very much helped start.
Honestly total Soviet W, even looking at loses, considering you had the likes of Rehzev to compare to at this point, a great victory, one of the 3 turning points of the war imo, itself, Victory in NA and the Battle of Midway.
Liberation is a very strong word here.
Debatable however I dont wish to defend either type of authoritarian scum. Both disgust me.
Normally one looks to the 3 suns rising above Japan to the cause of their surrender, especially considering how much of a disprganised mess the Kwantung forces were, and how poorly equipped they were, honestly I could go on forever shit talking them, fuck the imperial japs, they got off way too lightly.
Saying all that, you are dumb if you say the Soviet Union was not one of the main reasons for an overall allied victory in WW2. Though only in equal part to the US who also joined “fashionably late” and frankly the UK, I think many of us, myself included, forget quite how much the UK contributed to total allied Victory all in all.
Well you can read a manual you know:
JM-154.pdf
Its very detailed and Manchuria was very important to Japan since Japan don’t have resources to this day. That’s why they needed to expand militaristically in the first place it was the most important conquest Japan made:
As you can see all the industrial capabilities where in Manchukuo zaibatsu was created with majority of the Steel industry. Shōwa Steel Works the company utilized low-grade iron ore from the region, mining 950,000 tons in 1934. 1934, Japan’s steel industry heavily relied on imported iron ore, with domestic mining contributing a small percentage of the total needs. While Japan had some iron ore reserves, they were limited, and the country depended on imports, particularly from China and British Malaya, for the majority of its supply. Shōwa Steel Works, established in Manchuria, was a major producer of iron and steel, but it also relied on imported ore. So as you can imagine without this territorial expansions there was not going to be Japanese Empire since majority of the resources needed by Japan came exactly from this 2 places. Imperial Japanese Navy and Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) where separated US fought mainly the Navy and The Imperial Japanese Army had significantly more soldiers than the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. So do the math. Majority of the Japanese Army was defeated well by China… You should realize that majority of the Japanese army was not in the pacific. Japan would not just split majority of its forces in China if China was not more important then the pacific. Compare Battle of Wuhan with any US Japanese engagement and do the math …
just to be clear…
Well yes Battle of Wuhan is the biggest WW 2 battle that Japan fought during WW 2 much bigger then any other engagement they had. That’s why I aways wanted to have more mainland China battles in Enlisted. Very interesting locations.
Approximately 335 warships

if manchuria was the most important area with japans best army its clear the army got the navy rejects cause they sucked.
Well if you have no steel and oil how your industry gonna work ?
Operation Ichi-Go was the biggest operation Japan ever made. Just compare the Battle of Wuhan with Battle of Okinawa.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_invasion_of_Manchuriano im talking about this where a lager better equiped battle hardened army fought a bunch of green recruits with even more antiquated weapons then they started the war with
Japanese invasion of Manchuria - Wikipedia
not the start of the war when japan had a smaller professional army
im talking about 1944 the beginning of the collapse
southern china and pacific us uk and colonial powers and the us had hard fighting manchuria when ussr attack was the soft belly and reserve of the army
Well the Army was separated from the Navy the army in Manchuria was professional simply was not the Navy. They where veterans from the war in China. They destroyed 300-600 Soviet tanks and some where even IS-2 tanks. Not to mention big part of the Japanese Army was supported and recruited from Chinese warlords. But even this battle was much smaller then Wuhan battle. However the lost of IS-2 tanks is reported only by the Japanese side. The Soviets never said they lost so its a bit unclear. But soviets also used old tanks like BT 5,BT 7 and T 26 even not only T-34 and SU 100. So the Soviet Army was mix it was not the newest equipment only.

i am just saying if the ussr claims to have done the most to defeat Germany i would believe them. if they claimed to have done the most to defeat Japan i would give them the number of a good phycologist.
Well absolutely not China and United States sacrificed the most against Japan. USSR had minor casualties during this operations compared to the European theater. I really wish they make Battle of Mutanchiang in Enlisted sadly we cant get Wuhan very interesting battle.
WW2 was a big enough war for everybody to have a piece. Uk, US, ussr, Italy, Japan Germany and many more tens of millions of soldiers and civilians died. There are still a lot of corners of WW2 to be explored.
I bet Poland really felt liberated after thousands of soldiers and officers were shot/murdered/executed and thrown into a mass grave. They then liberated Berlin so had they had to put up a wall to keep easy berilners out. Katyn massacre - Wikipedia
russia is all about quantity even in war crimes
the Japanese themselves
I’m sure you have a big list of it.
Pathetic arguments. If you write my country name with a small letter - who are you anyway to answer? I know only one crime hobo who flame a lot here and have to be put in a ignore. Don’t respect someone casualties - don’t respect people at all.
During the operation to liberate Poland, the Soviet Army suffered the following losses: 477,295 killed, 1,636,165 wounded, and a total of 2,113,460 casualties. OF course none of you will remember these people.
Again, you came here and started to write all this rubbish with no cause because the topic. Its about godm body armor. Maybe this way you try to close it? okay, I see your point.
Im starting to thin you are born on the Balkan part of USA
Well compared to Germany and Japan they had far less war crimes. Soviet Union had more comparable war crimes to the western allies carpet bombings and nuclear bombings. Not to mention after the war many war criminals and their families escaped justice and to this day this companies are run by the same families. Just look at Mitsubishi , Sumitomo Group,Mitsui Group and on the German side Krupp, Daimler-Benz, and BMW this is same companies that profited from the war and guess what happened after the war. Well nothing they where given no punishment for the terrible war crimes they sponsored. Its hard to point the finger only on USSR.
Shiro Ishii & Unit 731 Documentary
Just look how unit 731 ended they got full immunity despite doing human experiments even on US citizens… disgusting how they covered all this crimes…
I waited for moment somebody bring 731, thx
Its not only them just look at the list on the German side:
List of companies involved in the Holocaust - Wikipedia
And now we need to work for the same failed companies that should not be in the market in the first place… The best example of the failed judicial system that we have in the west is Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach trial they returned all his property. The Nuremberg trials was corporate sponsored businessmen’s where judged by business men for the business its like slave owner judging a slaveowner for slavery. Majority of this ‘‘businessmen’s’’ build their entire corporations on human slavery.
Balkan part?
