Increase damage to anti personnel mines

I suggest to increase the damage to anti personnel mines if someone ran thru a mine at minimum there leg would be blown off gone why can people/bots run right thru it and survive that makes no sence. Please increase the damage

I think their in a good place atm, unless your full sprinting it tends to down you at least, and even if you are full sprinting, they do chunk you for a good bit of damage, personally I quite happy with AP mines atm.

Agreed. They’re pretty OK. Not the pain the ass guaranteed kills they were before, but you can still decently farm with them

No. They are fine now. They can still kill bots and down players perfectly fine, but don’t just wipe squads unless placed on a rally. They’re in a good place.

no it would be basically same as having mines unnerfed at least you can still run among mines with a sword and basically play something like minecraft tnt run but on enlisted

No. They are in the state they are now because mine abusers wouldn’t settle for any other type of balancing change.

Compromise (Overhaul) For Mines - Suggestions - Enlisted

Here, I made a compromise suggestion on the topic. I don’t think you’re wrong to want more realistic mines, I just think it needs to come with a priority to game balance. The old AP mines were dumb

maybe make players move slower when youre walking over the mine like when you walk through a bush

Here is a video taken recently where I survived 3 ap mines, the first 2 don’t down me but the last one does:

You can’t just place them anywhere and guarantee a kill now… yes you wouldn’t be able to walk through mine and survive like that but you also wouldn’t be able to if you were damaged by bomb shrapnel and or any other form of damage.

Now you have to place them in places such as blind corners, windows and stairwells where people slow down or stop to go through.

This is because you are an intelligent player using run speed and vitality.

even if I wanted, the skill issue players who can’t look where they are stepping who made they get nerfed would cry again

I usually dont see them unless I step on the first one and I spend a whole minute destroying the rest of it or it’s literally in the middle of the most brightest room lol and with how small the activation range is for the mines you can walk around it without activating it

They were higher at one point, but some people whined, and shockingly enough the Dev’s de-nerfed it quick without the usual year of non stop complaining, a year to ponder it and another eight months to actually change it. Now, they are completely worthless against people who are running. Hell, I ran through three AP mines with the same soldier once before he died, so, taking three to kill was pretty pathetic. Yes, I was sprinting, but that is still ridiculous. However, is it any more ridiculous then not being able to kill a dude standing in a grass hut or horse stable with a plane bomb.

I don’t see why, atm they’re in a good spot, they can still kill players without being a free kill button

I think your sort of missing the point with the hole skill issue thing.

When i have the time, in a great team, i can mine the point when defending and when attacking i have the time to look (or at least, because the team is good, it wont be a disaster when a soldier dies).

But when in a bad team and you to carry that shit, fighting multiple players at the same time while they get the time to mine everything without interruption, then it becomes a problem.
What often happens is that your in super intense situations and finally reach the point just to be blown up. The situation is to intense to also oeep track of mines + the enemy got wat to much time to lay them everywhere. Thats not rewarding and has little to do with skill.
My point here is that the OP mines of the past were often a way that winning teams got to win even harder.
Also, its just not that fun … neither laying mines or getting blown up. So the way I see it, nerfing them is a good thing for the game.

Id just like to remind that you are arguing with a person who thinks dropping a mine is some sort of skill.

Just think about it for a while.
