Please fix it so that when all the rounds are fired on the Gewehr-41, the bolt will automatically open, which will speed up the weapon’s reloading by approximately 1.5 seconds, making this self-loading rifle more engaging in our game.
Example:
Ps. also speed up the reload animation speed by 15%, this won’t break the animation, but it will make this self-loading rifle comparable to others.
wow just wow
drop g41 from 4.8 to 3.4 seconds
drop type 4 from 4 to 3.4 seconds
keep johnson at 3.4 seconds
drop garand from 2.9 to 2.7 seconds
how has the g41 remained so slow after the type 4 and johnson dropped to br3
What is that hand hold? Shooting aside, I do believe that the Gewehr 41 and Type 4 should have sub 4.0 reload speeds. However, they should be slightly slower than the Johnson because of it’s unique tubular magazine.
How is the g41 4.8 seconds well because it was the only tech tree at br3 with ten round but how is it still 4.8 when the Johnson is 3.4 and the type 4 4.0
You also need to consider the Lee family of bolt-action rifles, best one being at 3.8 currently, I don’t think they should become the new slowest rifles just because everything has to compete with the Johnson. @Master_Snail
3.6 should be the new speed of a a adjusted Johnson, it’s already too fast at 3.4 to be meaningfully different from the Garand, and the animation also looks wonky as hell due to the speed.
Mad, there’s a case for moving the Mkb to BR IV, but not at all to III. You don’t solve the SVT-38 problem by creating a new Mkb problem, it’s just further powercreep. Buff G41 damage and reload, buff SVT-38 damage and nerf SVT-38 reload by making it clip fed like all it always should have been.
Fair enough, but they are BR II rifles as opposed to BR III rifles. We could decrease the reload time of the Johnson to 3.8 and increase the Gewehr 41 speed to 4.0. I wouldn’t go any slower. The Garand reloads in 2.7 seconds, but it could be lowered to 3.2 seconds or 3.3 seconds.
The SVT doesn’t even need a stripper clip reload. It could just be decreased to 3.2 seconds. Although, this would only work if the Gewehr is sped up to 4.0 and the accuracy and recoil are improved across the board to SVT levels.
Indeed, and also bolt-actions, but it would be very strange if soldiers are magicly more adapt at reloading dual-clip rifles just because they picked up another rifle, also unnessesary from a balancing need I feel.
I think standardising speeds for dual-clip rifles is the best course, 3.6 (very good, unique to the Johnson due to ergonomic and design superiority), 3.8 (good, for rifles with noted speedy operation, like the Enfields), 4.0 (standard) and +4.0 (bad, for weapons with very high damage or noted real world slowness), all to ease with weapon balancing for the developers. subtlety is greater than the hammer, and this system would also be respecting real world attributes as well.
It’s also almost the thing already present in game, I just want them to actually stick to it.
The Garand I think exists in a pretty good spot right now, it’s arguably one of the best BR III rifle options, and I think it deserves that place as the main US service rifle of the war. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, it’s the things around it that needs adjusting. Maybe a 2.8 instead of 2.7 but it should be fairly fast due to being a single reload.
I think it does, the 10 round magazine size needs to be balanced with a slower reload, much slower than 3.2, otherwise there’d still be no downsides to the rifle which is the thing we want to correct. It would also serve to differantiate it more with the SVT-40, whom are almost identical except in damage, the SVT-38 is basicly a BR IV rifle in BR III in its current form. I have also been told that it used to be reloaded through clips, back in the beta, but was for some reason changed.
As an option, you can make the SVT-38 charge in the same way as the Gewehr-41, with clips from the top. According to the Kalashnikov website, the soldier was supposed to have 2 magazines for the SVT-38 (1 magazine in the weapon and 1 in reserve), which means that in reality, most infections occurred from the top.
Features of the SVT
The rifle’s automation is based on the use of partial gas extraction. The return mechanism consists of two springs, a tubular guide, and a guide rod. The barrel of the SVT-38 is 625 mm long, and the caliber of the ammunition used is 7.62×54 mm R.
The front part of the muzzle has a standard slot-type compensator. Early modifications, such as the SVT-38 and SVT-40, have vertical slits on both sides of the muzzle, with six slits on each side. The later version, the AWT-40, is equipped with a compensator that replaces the slits with four rectangular windows, two on each side.
The barrel has four right-hand rifling grooves. The lower surface of the barrel has a bayonet mount. The sights consist of an adjustable front sight protected by a ring-shaped hood. The breech of the barrel has a sector-shaped sight that is calibrated up to 1,200 meters. Sniper variants were equipped with 4x optical sights.
The design of the trigger mechanism of the SVT-38/40 rifles allows only single shots, which was improved in the AVT-40 version, which allowed for burst fire.
The rifle has a detachable box magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds. The locking latch is located at the rear of the magazine. Additionally, the rifle can be loaded from the top using five-round Mosin clips. The rifle came with two magazines, and the rest of the ammunition was in clips. The rifle weighed 3.8 kg without the bayonet or ammunition. It was 1,226 mm long. It had a single-shot rate of 40 rounds per minute.
the mkb42 (g) is a self-loading rifle in 8mm mauser and a detachable 10rnd mag, which isn’t even in the game at all, but thank you for being utterly clueless about everything, buddy
Literally balance it as a worse version of the G43 and it’ll find a comfortable spot between the m1 garand and SVT38
You’re very obviously misinformed what the Mkb42(g) even is if you think its already in the game, or would create another “mkb” problem when its basically a shittier G43 rifle
Because the M1 garand essentially acts like it reloads through a magazine, Japan has the Hei 10rnd and Hino rifle at br3, and the USSR playerbase would scream, cry, and shit if the SVT38 was nerfed
