What we got:
→ a 5000 Gold costing tractor
→ open for all fire of inafantry and everything
→ 3 loaders but not more loading speed
→ no penetration to every tank in game
→ slow as fuck in driving, maneuvering and tower rotating speed (unable even to shot planes what its mainly made for)
→ cant shot straight in driving direction and is unable to use negative oder even horizontal ankles (+ the smallest hole or hill and its unalbe to shot stright)
→ HE-TF ammo that doesnt work
What we need:
→ More Penetration to Heavy Tanks and working HE-TF
→ More Tower rotating speed and bether ankles (including negative ankle in driving direction)
→ Faster reloading with 3x Loader (20 % Perk maybe should stack?)
→ Dont let me forget it has only 3 colours without camouflage (white, beige, and grey)

That thing, being broken as it is, would even fit well at br3. Seeing as even just a br1 t60 could make short work of it.

You did have faster reload. It is only 5s, tiger 1 needs 7.4s.
I dont think the intention of the devs was to make odball items, so it should be restored at min. HE-TF was intended

The Flak 88 is more of an anti-bomber gun being able to engage bombers at high altitude, for example B17 formation could cruise at 30,000 ft (9,100 m), it’s not effective when engaging fast low flying aircraft due to the slow moving turret.
Don’t buy anything that is open top, having turret at the rear + slow reverse speed if you value the vehicle’s combat effectiveness.

it has enough pen to destroy every allied tank (and with the explosive mass it has it instantly overpressures if it can pen)

Not needed, with the reload perk it reloads in 4 seconds anyway
In training yard it feels just fine but its near unplayable right now in real battles, have you ever feeld tricked to spend money? And what your stats say to tiger? 8,8 Sf 37 should have more pen than Tiger with kwk 36
So HE-TF gonna get change in the future or is it gonna stay like this forever

But considering all the flaws the vehicle have… it would fit.
Because. Is it really worse than the Dicker MAX that DOES fit perfectly at br3? In truth, I’d argue the Dicker is BETTER than the 88…
Also, I’m not joking, a BR1 t60 CAN take out that vehicle without any struggle. So yes… It wouldnt be crazy at br 3 even if the canon is powerful. Because it’s all it is. a powerfull canon. on a boat sized platform… without armour… without defensive mg… that cannot just roll back from cover to only expose it’s gun because the ammo rack is also at the very back… that is open top… That doesn’t work vs planes… that offers NO depreciation angle of the canon even on the sides… That is slow… That is huuuuge…
yeah. A powerful canon that can take out everything but can also be taken out by everything.
88 Flak needs distance to be usefull anyways but its penetration on distance is not enough as statet above, but i cant imagine developers intended it as it is right now

even at distance, it’s a pure glass canon. vulnerable to ANY and ALL vehicles in game, BUT able to take out ANY and ALL vhicles in game.
It’s why it’s not great, but not horrible either (just because 88 is Doom gun) hence my position on it should be br3 and wouldn’t 
break gameplay here
Even warthunder has this vehicle a BR below tigers and up to 2 BRs below panthers.
And thats where the gun is more useful. (tank on tank action)
In Enlisted open top tanks are alot more vulnerable to more things
Did try to warn potential buyers in the announcement thread that its more for collectors or fans of the flakbus. AA gimmick is a distraction (and not functional in Enlisted), even in warthunder, and shes not user friendly.

I am fine with vulnerablility thats the price if you than would be able to stop every kind of planes (faster turrat rotating + working HE-TF) and Tanks (bether rotating ankles and straight foward shooting, maybe also more zoom would be good)
Yeah but it didnt have a faster rotating turret and even if HE-TF worked, its manually set, not a proximity fuse. Would still be a gimmick
