I heard a rumor that Japanese weapon data was available in the Enlisted game, so I actually looked at the game files, and sure enough, I found data for Arisaka type38 rifles.
It seems that there is a normal model and a cavalry model.
Can we expect Japanese Army in the future? (Or is this weapon simply a captured weapon for premium squads?)
What do you think?
probably going to be a premium for the forseeable future
Most likely going to happenā¦because in CRSED we already have katana sword
And how about that modern weapon tab next to common_weapons_jp.dxp.bin ?
As you can probably guess, it contains data on modern weapons such as the AK103, H&K MP5, Barrett M82 and M4 carbine.
Iām not sure how they plan to use these in the game.
I guess they invest it for the near futureā¦could be 2-3 years later xD
Hi,
First off these weapons in the files could be either for japanese soldiers or another captured weapon
While I want pacific theatre more than anything (I even suggested it by myself Suggestion for pacific theatre), devs will need a lot of time to develop such a thing
For those modern guns, Enlisted is ww2 only and will stay ww2 only. These guns are copy-paste items from cousine royale
I donāt understand how a katana has anything to do with a Japanese campaign or premium squad.
April fools tho. Mark my words.
Iteration 4 of monetization: premium guns 2.0
As a Japanese, Iām looking forward to play as a Japanese soldier againt Zhukov in the battles of Khalkhin Gol. ćććććććććć¾ć
Why would you want Khakhin Gol
I thought that battle didnāt turn out that good for the Japanese
Iwo Jima is a better choice for me, Japanese had much less casualties than Americans in that battle so the battle was more fair plus the way they fought inside the bunkers that were dug into the mountain is quite cool

It didnāt and it did.
iirc it was a pyrrhic victory for Japan, though there was no actual conclusion to the battle besides a ceasefire.
Japan was vastly outnumbered, did some pretty amazing things like breaking an encirclement by having their tanks make a surprise push at night in the middle of a thunderstorm, and put a huge dent in the Soviet forces.
Just Russia had more soldiers than Japan had bullets, so the Japanese knew they couldnāt keep that up.
Itās also why Japan started developing their superheavy tank, the O-I, to try making up for their lack of numbers in Manchuria.
It can be their melee (or buyable) weapon maybe, but who knowsā¦
well the axe right now is a rare alternate melee weapon, that could be similar.
Yippy-do
- Knife
- Katana
- Odachi (katana but smaller)
Unlike the armies of other countries, the Japanese army used military swords (gunto) during the assault.
Probably, Japan was the only major country that did this during World War II.
If the Japanese army were to be implemented, I think it would be a good idea to implement the Katana as a weapon. (It would be even better if it had an additional effect like Rising Storm, such as taking less damage during a banzai charge)
I also suggested this in my topic
Katana could make up for the lack of close range weapons Japan had
All i want is Tenno Heika BANZAIIII :v
Itās definitely going modern at some point.
And I canāt wait!!!
In the same way that War Thunder was supposed to be?
