welcome to enlisted.
don’t worry, it’s fine not being good,
as someone said more famous than me,
" practice create masters ".
with time, and a bit of experience, you will improve more and more
back to us,
i’m not sure if you are asking for the USA or germany, but considering that you are level 10 at normandy, i’ll go with those.
after all, normandy as axis is a bit easier due to most experienced players and generally, more playbase for the axis side is there,
the g43 it’s going to be an ever green weapon.
meaning that as i’m level 37, and have all weapons unlocked, i still use g43s.
they are fun to use, and are quite good.
so, if you are not sure which weapons you should upgrade, always start with g43s. next, lightmachineguns ( even though, i do not suggest you to upgrade the breda unless you really like it and have more time to eventually grind and get more bronze orders to later on spend on guns that you will use at " end tier " ) , and then submachineguns/assault rifles such as mp40s ( whitch you never can go wrong on this one as well ),
note, that what i’m about to say, it’s based on my experience, which might not reflect your playerstle,
among everything,
currently, as you are at level 10,
i suggest you to fully grind ( meaning, research each tech tree of the squads by first the blue, then the red, and then the yellow ) the engineer squad ( 91st ) the default trooper squad, the default smg squad, and the starter squad of tanks.
in the meanwhile, i guess you can also grind the radio operator squad, but only for the yellow tech tree ( as it will make g43s much more cheaper to upgrade and will requires less bronze cards )
regarding the AT squad, you can fully research it, but ditch it instantly due to the lack of actual good anti tank weapons ( up until level 30… for the panzerfaust. then you can consider using it but as it’s quite a long way, maybe just research the red tech tree for then being able to use anti tank troopers of type 1 in any squad )
and if you have time, the flame trooper squad ( fully ).
as usually, the enginner, smg and flametrooper/radio operator squad is a solid composition suited for both attack and defense.
so, to starter, i suggest you to fully upgrade type 1 troopers ( which you can recognize by this simble:

instead of:

which are level type 1. meaning that essentially, they will get less perk, but they will be cheaper to upgrade and can be reused in many squads ( saving you the time of regrinding or starting from zero which eventually you will, but it will ease things out a bit )
after that you have done that,
( of grinding the engy, assaulter, and a third squad ) you can be good to go to look onto other weapons up for your preferences, because, after all, you are the player that plays the game.
in order to save things up, i suggest you to upgrade your soldiers, and then you’re good to go.
then you will replace the tank ( even though, it’s somewhat an ok one ) for the PZ J and then get the panzer H ( that one, unlike all the previous one, is worthed to upgrade to full )
and that’s basically it.
you can never go wrong with any squad as long you keep playing the objective.
which, the more you die and kill ON the objective, the more experience you get.
( i’m not kidding )
sounds bad, but don’t worry too much about dying. it’s part of the game.
all you have to do, it’s to build rally points closer to objectives, use smoke grenades ( or ability of smokes from radio operator squad ) in case you are struggling to reach the objective, and capture ( or defend ) the objective.
if everyone is on the point, then look for flanks.
destroy airplanes if you don’t know what to do, there’s always something to do
so yeah, those are generally ( also generalized ) tips that i can offer to new players.
if you have more questions, don’t be aftaid to ask. there will always be someone that will answer.
