no fixes or slowing them down / limiting through a number like vehicles will solve the matches lasting much less because too many rallies / stacks at once or too many dumb people dying from trying to rambo the point alone.
eh, i mean outside a few, the forum isn’t really that bad.
or toxic.
just questionable sometimes.
sure, which it’s why more people should join.
even though, all we get so far are complains, odd requests and some occasionaly good suggestion.
granted, as stated, the forum has more fights than the actual game ( at least in my case )
but at least it’s… something. i guess
which i find it funny those members who join just to say how changes are shit and how forum " dwellers " decide everything when they are the first who didn’t even partecipated in any conversations or did anything when they had the changes.
anyway, seems we are going in circles so.
i guess my points were explained. which to reiterate, the problem of paratroopers being available to everyone is bad because matches will become much shorter.
Matches may probably end quicker but I still think we should get rid of that magical box and just let them have a box of ammo instead of classes they can change into.
So we are back to the “it’s not an abuse and it doesn’t hurt the gameplay if I payed for it” argument.
If you think that paras are ok, give them to f2p players in the tech tree and nothing bad will happen.
If you think they can be abused, change them and then add to the tech tree.
For example we could make events with frentch gear. Maybe to the point where we release it as a whole new nation to play. (Unrealistic)
Or something simpler. Like unique vehicles, guns, cosmetics (cloth wrapped sniper rifle anybody?).
Far better than locking a game mechanic.
We don’t lock the ability to heal or to drive a tank. So why lock something now? What does it improve?
EVERYONE that I have talked to on Console LOVES confrontation (unless its on the Cave Village Map).
Its the best way to have DYNAMIC gameplay!!!
If you leave it solely up to the game, its just the same variations across the same maps.
Whereas if you encourage players to make unique changes in each game (changing viable paths, making some areas less easily traversable through a normal method, essentially able to change entire sections of the map)
So… NO, I’m going to keep pushing it, and hopefully attract enough people along the way to make a difference.
I’m not opposed to more gamemodes. As long as they aren’t just oriented to one single playstyle.
I couldn’t care less about cosmetics, and many of the F2P players pretty much would agree I would imagine. I personally don’t want to see the flashy guns and skins everywhere like so many other games have done.
Again, so few people bother with customs, I think a lot of focus needs to be put on core gameplay.
