No, paras must be in the tech tree, the correct way probably is make one per faction and with the hability to chose the main weapon, just like the soviet one, so people could use it in low or high br.
All vet players would still have the chance to bring more than one to battle tho
They can have it but no powerful box which can let you change your class otherwise theyâll make the other classes redundant
Thatâs the whole point of paras. Plus wouldnât be fair not let the f2p paras place rally points while the events/premium can.

I used to be a german main, thatâs your answer. Iâm fine defending, im used to it.
And If someone place a rally in the flank good for him, but i know how to deal with it the same way people deal with the ones i made with my paras. Itâs about getting good in the game i guess. Could be anoying, but itâs a smart move and shouldnât be cut off for new f2p players.
Wouldnât be fair if only us, the âvetâ players could do it.
The only thing i would like when im defending is being able to see the next point or a cooldown time so i can make some defenses. Donât need any other change.
Weâve been asking for that for who knows how long and I donât wanna play matches in the future where I always have to worry if some paratrooper got past me and is now building a rally point in our flanks.
So overall I donât want more Paratroopers in the game to break it unless some major changes happen to them
Funny how you, a true f2p player (from what I read) like me, ask for more game limitations for new f2p players. Doesnât this game have enough flaws for that? How do you think new people from Steam will take it when they find out that their paras arenât as good as ours?
I think we can agree that defenders need some help, but youâre calling for the wrong change here. Limiting the playerâs options is never good.
If we can they should too, simple as that. And even then we still have more advantages.
that is true but with how DF does things here they donât really seem to take anything away and they always seem to choose the worst option so Iâm just trying to stop future problems from appearing and if what Iâm afraid of actually goes through weâll be seeing Paratrooper cycling next

I donât think paraâs are OP. They have their uses but are certainly less powerful than before the changes to drop speed.
People in here are talking like they can build rallies anywhere on the map which is a slightly confusing way to describe things. They still have to abide by the gray zone. Plus, if you choose the one option that gives you ONE engineer⌠youâre stuck with mortars.
Anyway, the main complainer here also thinks the RMN-50 is game breaking, soâŚ
Maybe he can just add paras to his list of reasons to auto-desert matches and let the rest of us play?
Premium soldiers already have unique perk point bonuses and even passive perks compared to regular ones. For example, the AR premiums have too much godforsaken points in handling itâs entirely possible to get both Horizontal and Vertical recoil reduction perks.
Not really, no.
There was certainly a point in time back when they drop speed was so fast they were literally shock troops you canât feasibly intercept while theyâre still falling from the sky. And much more so when they were a novelty when they were first introduced.
Itâs been months since then, and drop speeds have been nerfed to the point that even if the player drops first, the rest of his squads are still up in the air due to how early AI opens their chutes.
People have learned what to expect and how to react to them that theyâre just a regular squad with time-locked additional capabilities due to the crate interaction mechanic and the fact that the rest of the soldiers have to survive the drop down before you can bring them to bear.
Just because you donât know how to fight paras doesnât mean theyâre OP and deserve a blanket nerf.
This is not a blanket nerf this is just to stop Tech tree paratroopers from having the same magical box which the premium one in the event one gets which lets them change their classes when they land.
