At present, the gap between players and AI is still too big. As a unique feature of this game, squad members are only used as mobile respawn points.
If they can’t make deeper improvements in AI behavior, but just cheap buffs like reaction speed and accuracy, maybe we can consider making the player’s FPS experience more “hardcore”
This move can shorten the combat effectiveness of the player squad and the bot squad, making the game more balanced.
I will rate the features I want to suggest based on implement difficulty and gmaplay impact:
Fully applied the LMG mechanism of Stalingrad, greatly reducing the effectiveness of the LMG in non-prone positions.

Suppression effect. When soldiers are attacked by MG, they will suffer effects ranging from vision flickering to weapon shaking. They can be reduced by prone, taking cover or even new perk.

Reduce the zoom when aiming weapons to restore a more realistic aiming experience

These increases the time it takes to kill a squad in combat and encourages players to find cover for themselves and the squad AI
Its quite hard to mimic the genuine lake tardicaca actions bot does.
But if your goal is to make game more balanced for bots wouldnt it be easier to make game switch binds randomly in mid game ?
Like in situation when your aiming at your target → press m1 to fire but instead of shooting you jump or prone due to game randomly switching your keys.
This way players would be forced to behave like AI or to do stupid decissions anyway.
Than why would bot farm become a problem?
If our bot fitghting experience is challenging and fun, lack of players won’t be so bad.
Bots currently has no chance to fight back.
When you’re playing a roasted faction for a long time, it’s normal to want the gap between players and bots to decrease.
I just don’t want to see another row of bellow-ten kill count in my team
At least nerf players can fix that a random solider just got “power of player” and start to massacre and fight like a one man army.
Well if that certain invidual is being “too good” then hopefully the BR will solve some of these issues stopping those inviduals appearing in low BR games with by far better tools.
But what you are suggesting is nerf for every player, meaning it will also affect the ones that currently arent doing very well ( And unfortunately theres alot of them )
So what is the purpose of bots in this game? Are they just a source of points and a way to gain a sense of accomplishment?
Bot squad is a unique feature of this game. I don’t want them to just focus on the arcade FPS experience. Even COD’s AI is better than the one in game.
This means that high BR will be full of Rambo warriors and spraying lead storms everywhere.
And competition will only be between players because the AI is the meat on the pallet.
What I suggest is through the nerf to FPS experience to let players pay more attention to the squad firepower. Find cover and even fortification for the squad to fight longer.
you have to first differentiate between bots masquerading as players and bots in squads.
problem in imbalance of the game comes from bots that are in game as fake players making one team ineffective.
Well I agree the AI is horrible and thats the problem.
If you take easy solutions, such as increase the aimbot of AI or nerf players neither is a good solution.
il grant that AI’s aim & reaction time could be increased some but considering the average players of the game there aint much to improve there.

When I joined the game I also thought they wanted to make something cool with AI.
But 3y have passed since then and bots still remain moving targets with no self preservation instinct and hardly any use.
Because making SMGs brrr is far easier (and I guess more profitable) than making something uinque and cool.
not to mention when bots had better aimbot and reaction we had loads of cheater topics and 90% of those could be explained by either bot aimbot or aim assist on consoles or combination of lag and bot aimbot/aim assist
Could say its exactly same since the “upgrades” has been so minimal.
They prone everynow and then in middle of artillery.
And considers enemy wielding melee weapons as threat. Could just stab 20-40 bots in single room and nobody gave fk as long as u had melee.
Cant really think of any other “improvements” they got in past years.
ah almost forgot they are indeed quite deadly if you wander into theyr safespace circle instant buttstock to face.
~stay 1-2m away from then and u can kill them with feathers.
