At the start of the map, when the Allies and Axis rush to First Capture Point, if the Allies fail to capture the point at first wave and BOOM the Allies lost. Because TANK on the HIGHGROUND, PLANES and CLEAR SKY BEACH…it is a massacre for the Allies just on the beach (10 game like 1)
And this is my IDEA to Balance this map more than now
First : Fog at the beach (like D-Day Map) spread to Second Capture Point and more stuff at the beach for the Allies to cover.
Second : Pls DON’T ALLOW spawn TANKS at the First Capture Point because just 1 PANTHER on the HIGHGROUND is DOMINATED even to M10 Tank.

And I see Deve @Keofox have change the First Capture Point at D-Day map, that is good, give more balance.

Or just introduce smoke artillery. Or use a few squads fully equipped with smoke grenades - well that last one will never happen with avg players like me.
Tbh Ver-Sur-Mer beach lacks normal flanking ways as D-day has. If they will add something - it will be easier to capture first two points and there will be no need in extra big number of reinforcements.

AA gun is cant shoot plane, it cant rotate that fast u know.
And smoke artillery or grenade smoke, is not that long and u still been kill when it over.
Bomb at tank need alot of skill and most players dont do that easy.
in the d-day if the germans are not idiots, they weaken the allies with all the mg they have at their disposal, so it’s not a matter of checkpoints or maps, the question is do your allies know how to play?
