Idea for adding the kv/t-34

The kv-1/t-34 could be spawned when the Russians are losing really hard. could be a solo operated by the best player on their team or the top 2/3 for a driver gunner and/or commander. Although they would be really strong you wouldn’t see it that much unless the Russians are getting stomped. The Germans could take it out but it would take some teamwork like building an 88mm gun.

Considering you can kill both with the AT gun I really don’t find either of them unreasonable to add wholesale. There’s a whole bunch of vehicles they could add back in like the 15cm little open top, a StuG, T-28, stubby PzIVs.

I would want the kv to be a sort of “miracle weapon” that takes a lot of teamwork on both sides to use properly/kill it

So you want to make sure the top tree will remain in top tree considering the the driver does not run away coz he won’t get any kills…that very bad design or a childish reward

As I said, it could be solo operated and would need team work to kill or use properly

That’s completely disconnected from how even the King Tigers are implemented, dude. It’s not some miracle weapon, it’s a heavily armoured soviet shitbox with a mediocre gun.

Yes, it requires someone to have the two braincells to rub together to set up an AT gun to blast it in the side lmao
It shouldn’t be implemented differently from any of the other tanks though since that would open up a whole slew of shit for the German heavies as well. And I’d quite like to play the Tiger 1 and KTs.

King tigers in berlin had a counter part, the is 2. Might not have been perfectly balanced but it had least a counter part.
German heavies cant appear in Moscow since they were made later on.
As i said it would take a lot of teamwork on both sides it to use it or kill it
You could make it so it can’t be penned in the driver port by a 50mm since it would be a rare yet strong tank that would need the germans to build an 88 to take out

Also it was a lot of sturm at guns and self-propelled gun for German side. We all can also check all tanks and semiguns here

Kv-1 is only been penetrated by 88-flak cannon. So if we want it to be entered we need a flak cannon. I do like Idea @91224215 kv-1 can be available then team start to lose and only 1 or 2. And a flak cannon needs to be available too for germs

Stug III in theory can penetrate T-34 by flanking and a scope of T-34 1941 was really hard to aim it can be represented in game somehow. I like that @5762269 idea

The first stug with a long 75 was made in March of 42 so it may be a possibility

The Pak38 was able to pen it from the sides and on the driver’s viewport on the upper front plate. The 88 flak would be a good addition to the game full stop, not just for blasting KVs and T-34s :muscle:

Also we can have these beast on German side

This isn’t Battlefield, such a mechanic is not going to work here. People have to unlock everything they use (potentially with real money) and they are going to want to use everything they unlock (if it’s good enough, and if it isn’t then there’s no point either).

Hiding desirable vehicles behind too many conditions is only going to incentivize people to do weird things. Enlisted already has plenty of unintentional (at least I hope so) incentives to ruin the game for everyone, we don’t need any more.

This is what the 5th post about these?

No. You are comparing a fixed gun, that needs perfectly flat angle shots on a specific part of the front, or the side. If the KV sees you, all it has to do is angle. KV is a big nope, T-34 is a very big MAYBE if it has heavy restrictions on it.

Agreed

Great idea give someone the most OP vehicle in the entire campaign

We had the Tiger 2P, which has near identical practical stats as what it faced, the IS-2. Both have a frontal mantlet of ~100mm, rounded, good gun that can kill the other through the mantlet, and weak enough side armor to get yeeted by the rocket launchers we had around.

In comparison, KV-1:
Unkillable by AT rifles
Unkillable by explosive packs (they can’t pen the ~30mm frontal armor of a Pz2, and KV-1 has 30mm roof armor, so it would take a miracle for these to do something)
Unkillable by any tank we have ingame rn (46mm pen on the Pz2, 48mm pen on the Pz3s. It’s thinnest plate is 75mm flat)
Killable by the AT cannon only in the ideal situation, which never happens

As said, Good luck setting up a stationary gun that needs a perfect side or frontal shot to DAMAGE (KV-1s are large and the 50mm did not have thàt much filler, so not take out) a moving, angling tank.

Right one side gets to drive it. The other side would need to set up at least 3 guns at diffrent positions to guarantee a flat shot into the armor to MAYBE take it out. Totally balanced.

Stupid idea

So what stops someone from building that 88 during normal conditions to prepare for a possible KV-1? because if it spawns, it is too late. It will never let anyone build a gun, with 76mm HE shells that are 2.5+ times are powerful as the 45mm HE we have rn, literally capable of clearing squads in one shot.

I do like the addition of the stug and pz4, but the sturmpanzer would be dumb as it can clear a circle of a ~10m radius worth of infantry.

Also why would there be pz3f strict upgrade of 3e, and that be a direct upgrade for 3b

Only if it gets the HEAT shell. Its APHE pens 52mm.

Quite frankly these tanks have to be practically blind in order for anything else to have a chance. Why can’t you guys just settle with a T-28? You get the big yeet HE, you get the 4 MGs. But at least German players can kill a T-28 with some effort (it still has a lot of crew)

Battle of Moscow: 2 October 1941 – 7 January 1942
So uh no. It is not a possibility. It is 2 months late.
So far all tanks ingame are either pre-war, or from 1941 at its latest.

You keep repeating this. Guess I have to keep repeating myself? Good luck with that in practice. Only if it was mounted on a mobile chassis like a Pz2H, then maybe it could work.

Exactly.

Agreed

Literally is having T-26-4 (derp gun T-26) and T-28 for infantry support for Soviets, with Stug3A and Pz4C for germany, while adding Pz38t instead of Pz3B, not enough?

It’s funny how Soviet mains can’t stand the idea of flanking, angling, aiming when someone brings a Pz II but then wants a tank that can only be taken down by a stationary weapon that will probably take a long time to build while also being extremely vulnerable to enemy fire, and can only do damage from the sides.

Everyone’s a history preacher until they are being shot at.

It’s funny how some players don’t want to see obvious op sides of one of equal class tanks

T-34 was a huge part of Moscow defence. It was a core of mobile defence doctrine which helps Red army to hold 15 km front lines on rural area. T-28 wasnt something during this battle. Only a few of them remained by that time. Literally this tank perfect for a parade not a battle. T-34 of first modification and their child issues was a strong core of defence in late 1941 and a fist of attack waves in early 1942 in Moscow battle counteroffensive movement.

I was very specifically referring to the request for KV-1 and hypocrisy associated with it. I did not talk about Pz II being OP or requiring nerf or buffs. Read for once.

And Soviets are asking for the same OP-ness btw. So, Pz II being OP argument completely losses any relevance.

At least we will be in a same boat then. Su in early game and Germans at end game

Could you fully read the post? I said that the KV-1 could only be spawned if the Russians are getting dunked on so it wouldn’t be a regular thing ( side note you left out the part where I said it could also be multicrewed) . Also I said that it would take teamwork. Since I’m saying that it should put in as a last ditch weapon it shouldn’t be an “I win” tank. Maybe you could have it so it has a fuel shortage problem so the team needs to help it so it could do maximum damage. As for your “mg go brrrr” point (this referring to your point where you can’t kill a kv since it has mg’s, by that same logic the t-60 is an un-killable beast since it has a 20 mm brrt gun and and mg) you could snipe the mgs in the kv and then the Russian teams needs to repair those. This could make it so that the Russians need to have braincells to make their kv do maximum damage and the Krauts also need to use brain cells to keep the KV’s mgs down and to stop it from refueling so they can build their 88 and kill it.
