I was thinking, Britian played a Good role in WW2, So they should have enough guns tanks planes etc. to have Thier own faction,

Isn’t that the Petard tank?

Sure the gun is glorious, but the tank chassis is still a Churchill, which was notoriously under-armoured, especially compared to German heavy tanks.

First time I’m hearing this. The Churchill AVRE of WW2 was based on the Mk IV chassis, so it’s not as armoured as the later Mk VII (152mm is nothing to sniff at), but the Mk IV still has 102 frontal armour if I’m not mistaken, which is equal to the Tiger I.

Notoriously slow and undergunned, but I have never heard ā€œnotoriously under-armouredā€ before.

Everything is also ā€œunder-armouredā€ against late war German Heavy Tanks.

I believe so. I may be off. EDIT: Yes, sir. You are right on the mark.

That is true. But one who knows better wouldn’t really be trying to deal with other tanks in this. But using it as a full support vehicle. This is why I brought up tanks like the Black Prince and Centurion. Black Prince being slow and rather rubish; my personal opinion. And Centurion being a controversial topic around here.

Tbh, I’m not fond of the firefly. More so being premium in this game. If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t have been so tits up.

Even that Centurion I wanted added. Will still struggle against the likes of the KT or a Jagdtiger if that thing gets added certainly… But a better fight than using a firefly I say.

I’m still mad about it.

I will write a suggestion about a remedy for this, one that asks for the Firefly to be moved to the tech tree, in exhange the premium version will become:

Firefly, but with two RP-3 rockets strapped on to them!

Eh? Eh? Just look how glorious it is! Imagine dropping two very accurate, and very powerful, rockets with this thing!

Company of Heroes 2 players will also appreciate it.

Yes sir! So will the Gates of Hell players that have valour.
If they certainly add that to the firefly. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

This is a deliberate lie.

Introducing more factions that are completely unnecessary is not a step in right direction.

Ok, what’s a step in the right direction?

Sub-trees. Problem solved.

How would sub trees work though ? Would you select US and then you can click a British tab that holds research and the shop for the British, so you can still play as Britain and America? Because if so, then that would work!

Yes. Thats would I had in mind. A simple solution. No need for anything too fancy.

Oh YES, now I’m refusing to buy the Firefly simply out of spite, because it SHOULD be in the tech tree, just like the Matilda II.

But this thing? I couldn’t hand over my money fast enough!

Yeah, that would work.i want my P40!!!

Yes a firefly without rockets will do nicely. The premium variant should be one with RP-3s. They can also add the Cromwell with RP-3s.

I think a sub faction would be the best I dont kbow of any Commonwealth ARs pre war , in any case if push comes to shove at least Commonwealth has multiple SF rifle to chose from and have multiple SMG and lmg essentially what they lack is good Tank with turrets ( They have tortoise which could be their version of Ho-Ri ) and other thing they would lack would be a AR

Centurion. Won’t blow anyones socks off, but that’s okay, because I thought power-creep was bad.

Yes the best British tank to add period. And it wont be power creep depending on the variant. The one I constantly push for is the mk 1. Basically, a panther superior. But will strugle against a KT.

You forgetting that early 20 Pilot tanks never used the 20 pdr or 105 mm cannon, the pilot tanks all used 17pdr and I dont think any of them are in WT

I dont think 17 pdr would be enough to deal effectively with KTH.

Edit : NVM i checked WT and it seems Centurion pilots are in WT though I still believe 17pdr wouldn’t be able to effectively deal with KTH.

I would not have any other added, as other Mks are post-war.

Also, 20mm coaxial, hehehe.
