I Suggest Turning On Friendly Fire When Calling For a Artillery and Aerial Bombardment

If this suggestion gets implemented, this might change the gameplay flow and dynamics for both side, forcing them to clear out from the targeted area and no more capping while under Bombardment strat.

For the Penalty Implementation for friendly fire incident,
The Penalty will only apply if the Bombardment kills more friendlies than enemies per salvo.

NO! I already get killed by enemy artillery, I don’t need to die to my teammates artillery too, besides it would ruin the strategy of using artillery to help your team push up and capture the objective.

Yeah…people already call in bad artillery strikes and air raids, why would anyone want to punish their teammates even harder for having bad teammates

getting blown up by teammate sucks and also being unable to protect an objective because enemies cap it while their artillery selectively kills only your team also sucks, but i really dont know an ideal solution to this

this is exactly why this needs to be removed. one side suffers from arty fire, while other is invincible in it.

i agree with this, but i also recognize that game will be frustrating with loads of teamkills from shit players that make majority of playerbase.

btw i would introduce friendly fire for all HE spam. that way HE spam would be somewhat balanced.

I honestly believe it should carry over to tanks as well. The number of times large bore tanks just camp in the greyzone shooting into rooms packed with friendlies is frustrating. That way, there’s a lot more thought put into capturing objectives, rather than just sprinting through friendly HE because it does no damage.

The only people objecting here are the people who abuse this system.

Friendly fire was enabled in Lone Fighters, and it was a mess.

Having it as a setting for custom games would be nice.
But I am gonna disagree here. It’s fine the way it is.
I call artillery, I get in cover. I don’t die.
Tanks however. Should not be allowed to camp from the grey zone.

What I do is play the Sig however I don’t Greyson’s camp with it, I about 100-150 meters away from the point, because I hate Grey zone campers, but if I get a penalty because I tried to support my team by calling artillery on the point and it kills a lot of my teammates I’ll be pissed! This is a prime example when we shouldn’t put realism over the game being fun, and besides if we do take into account Vehicles like the Sig, the blast on that is so big, you’re bound to accidentally kill your teammates making it nearly impossible to play as you’ll just be a problem for your team.

What they should do is, if a tank is in the grey zone for say 1 minute it will start a 30 second timer and if they don’t leave in 30 second their tank will die, and if they leave and renter the zone, the time will start where it stopped so if they left at the 1 minute mark they will get the 30 second timer, but if they leave at the 46 second mark, they’ll get 14 seconds before the 30 second timer.

Honestly total friendly fire sounds interesting. It would completely change the entire game.

It seems like the vast majority of my squad casualties come at the hands of artillery, and at times from grey zone camping tanks continuously blasting cap points. I get a good number of kills by using artillery, when of course I actually get the chance to call one in as it seems to be damn near always busy with other team mates calling it in as well. So, maybe there should be more wait time between your artillery strike and when you can call it again. This might cut down on the amount of artillery. Of course, it usually takes so long to call in a strike that 80% of the time my radioman dies before I can actually get it called in. By adding more time between called artillery, more radiomen will die since they have to survive longer until they can call another one, thus cutting down the total amount of artillery…Theoretically :yum:

Friendly fire is actually available in custom games in hardcore mode, and it is almost impossible to finish a game as you get kicked out of the game after artillery strikes. Very bad idea.

Or people with radiomen will just hide away from the objective and do nothing until they can call in their strike.

Yes but its possible to call in Arti Strike from your Team too on same spot…
i hate it but its part of Enlisted since the start of the Game… Arti should be stricted harsh… maybe every Player can call Arti only once every Match…
