I really hate how DF nerfed bomber call ins into the ground

Each plane carries 4 50/60kg bombs

I’m personally just not a big fan of features which force a counter and the decision is always the same. So this would be too easy.

The level of arty is also generally fine. Dont remember being much bothered by it recently. But if you think the frequency is too high, lets have that discussion without a map wipe every 5ms.

I dont think theres too much arty as in being bothered by it, just that its the best/common option and for good reason.

As someone who loves playing in the air. There is no point calling in a bomber strike if any pilot is awake.

Arty is consistently effective, short cool down
Bomber is consistently uneffective, long cool down
Smoke still hasnt got its own timer

Guess im more interested in making the other options more relevant

heavy impact, long cooldown would be optimal for Bombers :slight_smile:

Seems like I have terrible skill issue with it. I never managed to kill more than 4/5 people.

I mean, they are weak. But all you need to do is to press 2 buttons to cover half of the map in bombs. Low reward for low effort seems logical.

On the other hand if I would need to put some effort to call them only to see them all effortlessly destroyed by a fighter plane I can do nothing about, it would suck hard.

They are way more than that. Currently, you are sabotaging your own team if use them.
Effectively blocking artillery barrages for pretty long time.

Personally I’d like to see them level half of a map but I have no damn clue how to make it balanced.

Maybe smoke bombardment should be its own thing
Because they are not aggressive and are often delayed by useless shelling

Good timing is essential - how often does a defensive call occur jsut before a cap point is lost, so there’s nothing left in the target area when the bombs arrive?

With good timing they are still devastating in any open country - but most players lack teh skill I guess.

Plus you can get artillery calls from pretty much every infantry squad too.

Well… there’s also that the Focke in Enlisted… well they handle weird and go sideways. Premium too… maybe it’s that :thinking:

I know, but I was pretty successful with tech tree one. I am just extremely unlucky with premium one.
