And only Tiger 2 is really serious problem.(mostly because game dm is broken, so you can’t easily pen in pixels, sometimes it’s feels like you playing world of tanks…)
You will gain your right to buy ISU-152 in future, don’t worry. It already in editor.
I want ISU152, because it’s a vehicle I love.
But Soviets don’t suffer, and their vehicles are already on par.
ISU152 should be, because it’s fun and new content. Not just to compete.
BUT BEWARE. Double edged sword, here. Adding it, might also open the door to the Jagdtiger…

No. IS 2 isn’t on par with TIger 2. (even if they will fixes every bug which happens with shells and dm)

I mean IN GENERAL. Everything is not about the single top tank of every faction, Soviets got an amazing lineup in all BR. So does axis. Allies might need a bigger top tank, and Japan… uh let’s forget Japan.
Soviets can compete easily. And the IS2 1944 CAN take out KTH, easily as well. Even if KTH is a bit better, it’s silly that people think Soviets are powerless against the KTH.

It is. You can kill KTH only if you have some skill. If you playing on KTH you don’t need it, you need only basis knowledge.
It’s much better. Only plus of IS-2 it’s 12.7mm DShK on his top.
In general, yea. On 2BR it’s ± same.
On 3BR maybe even better.
Everything about single top tank of faction for every br line.
I love M3 Lee. It’s pretty good for second BR. On 5 BR, yea they need.

Btw, I don’t say that’s soviets needs T-44 or IS-3. No, not really. Just I don’t like when someone disagree with common truth. Tiger 2 is a best tank of 5BR.

Disagree. IS2 1944 is a great vehicle, and can take out anything in game.
Perhaps it requires a bit more smarts than when using the KTH I’ll concede that point.
But a semi decent IS2 1944 driver will take out a KTH if patient. Remember most KTH drivers are cocky and think they are invincible, which is a huge mistake.
IS2 1944 turret is also, really, really good. It WILL bounce KTH shells. If the IS2 is “hull down” (hull behind cover) believe me KTH will struggle. All IS has to to is hit back & forth while reloading to throw KTH aim off.
IS2 1944 is a good tank. KTH is a bit better true.
But it doesn’t mean Soviets “NEED” something even better.
Yea, of course. But before shoot you have to pray to snail.
And time, you have to stop and made precisely shoot. But faster enough before you being one shot by 8.8 or lose half of your crew by 7.5
If patient. That’s the problem.
Yea, many of KTH drivers pretty dumb it’s truth, you can bait them by your cheeks armor for useless
shot. But still, it’s you need to play smart, not the guy on KTH.

What fix does the Is2 1944 need? 
I don’t see it has anything to do with Jagdtiger.
The two are very different.
Brummbär will be the more suitable German equivalent.
Fix of HE.
Fix of penetration and damage.
(that’s only part of screenshot which I posted on forum, but I seeing this almost every game on IS-2)

The official do have this vehicle in the file they just dont want to work on it (beside it took what? 3 year for KV2 to become playable?)

Yeap, that’s point. On Tiger 2 you at least have time to reload. But on IS-2 it’s deadend.
More(KV 2 was there since CBT or even Alpha)
It a problem for every tank. But for IS-2 it’s a fatal. And may KV 2 will sucks also because this problem.
