How is the Panther Bugged? I’m only asking because I love using the Panther G and I wish to know it what manner. Please and thank you Sir!
It’s has broken damage model I guess.
Somewhere above I was posted screenshots where IS-2 just do nothing to panther. Although it’s weak spots.
Jagdtiger cometh
I wonder if people know that AP shell of the ISU-152 will not be able to through front armor of Tiger II(H) and also it having 90 mm armor at best means even PZ III J can take it out oh did I mention reload time which is worse than IS2 BTW the Heat rounds might be able to go through front armor but depending on how Tiger 2 angles it will be 1 in 100 shot (also Heat round wasn’t used during WW2 but it doesn’t matter)
You might be better off asking for Is-3 so I can get Tiger II 105 and SLA. 16
not every new things need to be able to take out the KTH like if it were a benchmark!
I want the ISU simply because it’s a cool vehicle with a gentle touch of boom.
I didn’t say it should not be added just if the idea was that it will counter KTH then its not the tank that OP is looking for
Anyhow new stuff is always cool
Eh you’re right, my comment should have been directed more at the OP
It’s an endless powercreep festival from those who don’t play all factions.
ISU would be extremely boring vehicle. Ass huge reload and no MG.
What tank is that? Have you looked at the armor model of the Panther while in the Xray menu/hanger? The IS-1 usually doesn’t pen the front of my Panther, not because of a bug but because of the angle of the frontal armor. I typically leave the front end up on a slight angle so the upper glacis plate will be at a more shallow angle and prevent penetration. Even when the reticle is green, I do not follow the green/yellow/red indicator. I believe those indicators are incorrect. I go off of memory and armor models.
I say this as an Axis Panther player to a fellow Tanker of the Soviet Red Army.
Ah. Mhm. Interesting. I’ll look into this. Thank you for the info.
That second tank is on a shallow angle. His angle of penetration is increased and he is harder to penetrate. Look at the position of his front wheels and final drive in comparison to the bottom of the turret/mantlet chin.
I dont care. The marker is green - green means certain penetration.
I said that the green/yellow/red penetration icons are inconsistent and are incorrect.
I’m not saying you should care, or not care, nor am I defending any position. I am merely responding to have considered ideas that maybe the icons are incorrect.
The IS-2 44 has green sometimes and I have no pen. You should understand that, as well as what I have understood that the icons do not function properly.
Right, but it is misleading players.
I agree. we should make a post asking/suggesting a change to this mechanism and a correction.
