I hate that there is only a Lanchester at BR2 Allies - can we pls get something more reasonable?

There were better Sten versions and even 20 round Thompsons, pls I dont want to choose between German copies, weird top loaded SMGs or the gods awful grease gun.

I am forced to play with the Lanchester, dont get me wrong, very powerful weapon for BR2 - but I play Allies for a reason, I dont want to use German weapons.

20 round thompson should definitely be at br 2 along with m1918 bar with slight nerfs

We already have 2 of those.

Yes, but none are tech tree. I wouldn’t mind a Thompson M21/28 (20 Round) in the tech tree. Would be comparable to the M38A (20 Round)

3 actually. Hyde 35, bsa thompson and usmc thompson. Too bad 2 of them are unobtainable rn and bsa thompson is gold order. Considering how common 20 round thompsons were irl it is an surprise we havent gotten any in tech tree variant yet

half of the SMGs in game are derivates of a Mp18 copy.

Japan doesnt count

No, that’s 20/20 double mag weapon. Similar to erma 44 or mp40/1

I dont understand you, Grease gun and FNAB are objectively terrible SMGs, why you love these poor DPS guns, even tho many rapid firing ones have similar dispersion and accuracy?

Grease gun is trash, everything is awful about it except damage, it has very high damage.
Not everyone has a good trigger discipline so some people like slower firing guns.
FNAB-43 has a huge magazine, you die before you run out of ammo. Its almost the same as the M1 Beretta but much weaker which is why I dont see people use it.

I like Sten better
Very useful when attacking at close range

indeed, I actually also use Sten, its a bit inaccurate - but shoots fast enough to be good.

that being said, despite it being a 9mm gun, it deals less damage, so it doesnt 2 hit kill in cqc.

So I always choose to sneak attack
This is much easier than strafing from 50 meters away

It’s honestly a lot better once you get used to it. Just gotta remember that a Boltie can beat you in a contest of RoF. Lol

M3A1 Grease Gun is pretty damn good, and so is the Lancaster. I’ll use either depending on if I’m using an American or British squad.

There’s also the BSA gold order Tommy Gun, but honestly I like the Grease Gun better.

Oh no, 470 rof against poorly equipped newbies with BAs on low BRs is not fun :(((( I need my 800 rof Thompson to have fun.

We already have two of them. One Premium one Gold Order. You could easily build two squads of them.

Soviets have 690-800 rof but without awful Thompsons recoil and sights, but i don’t see you complaining about their overpowered guns. You seem to always enjoy the Soviet bias.
