make it possible to use pistol when your character is down to defend against incoming enemies
increase the damage of the pistol to make it possible to kill in 1 or 2 shots and make them effective CQC weapons
disable the kill cam for Pistol kills to use it to kill enemies undetected during a flanking
add tracer ammo to pistols that mark hitted enemies for 30s and make them visible on the mini-map
add a bayonet to pistols
make it possible to use pistol and knife together
Give more points for pistol kills
make it possible for the tank crew to fire from inside the tank through the port with the pistol
Being able to use it when downed I see as an absolute necessity. Your only option currently is to use a grenade on yourself? The whole point of getting knocked down instead of outright killed is for a chance to get back up.
You need to be able to defend yourself in order to do so sometimes. Thats where using a pistol should come in.

I think the pistol is good as it is, lacking practicality.
I want it to be a challenging item. There is no reward, just for self-satisfaction.
add a bayonet to the pistol hahah so there are good ideas how to use it to defend yourself when you are down, another interesting thing would be that when using the silenced weapons it would not be possible to reveal the position of who killed you (I would like to see new silenced weapons kits, like three pistols for a premium card)
Let someone who considered the normalization of guns a good idea speed up and hit the lamb in the wall.
Weapon damage should be based on caliber, and range and penetration should be based on weapon type. Because guns deal ridiculously little damage, and from a submachine gun you currently have to stick 4-5 seeds into the enemy, and sometimes even more because someone has implemented some aborted RNG straight from WOT into the game.
I absolutely agree, people admire this game for fast TTK i ask where is it? is it with prem weapons only? bcs for me it takes like 2-6 shots in order to kill someone entirely…
From your viewpoint that makes sense, but from my viewpoint, the ability to quickly recover from an otherwise lethal wound and rejoin the fight, as if nothing had happened, is already too merciful. The average soldier is too good at fighting already, we don’t have to turn everyone into John Wick.
Seperate point, concerning the thread as a whole. Pistols being upgradeable, so they do the same damage as upgraded SMGs, I agree with.
The last one should be extremely close range (CQC only) but damage drops significantly with distance
First one make more sense tho, but better be swayed or something, or downed enemy would be as dangerous as they weren’t
