I want to know if there is some way to change terrain texture for example form dirt to sand.
at the moment this is not possible, presumably in the next update there will be something similar.

There is a tool coming that will let you “paint” rendinsts over existing terrain but you won’t be able to repaint it.

you currently can… sort of change terrain texture.
but it’s super junky as you don’t have many controls and it’s less than intuitive.
