The later versions do much better at range. A lot more controllable. Also faster TTK.

I myself haven’t used it much, but I’ve heard it’s just a discount PPD. At level 35.
I mean, You don’t have to use it if oyu don’t want to. And as for the stuff here, most of it is just optional stuff that gets a better alternative later on.
What if I didn’t bring it? Because I don’t like flying planes in this game. Which is because If I’m not on the ground, my team is incapable of defending/pushing and overall, planes don’t do much. You get like 10 kills once every 2 minutes, can’t build anything or cap anything. So what if I decided to bring a vehicle that would actually be able to help my team push fortified objectives - a tank. What do I do now? The AT gun is meh and detpacks work only at short ranges. What to do?

Because there’s a lot of high level alleid players around. At least 2 every match. For axis it’s more like 1 everyy 3 matches. And T50 is a lvl1 gold order unlock everyone seems to have. The T50 makes up at least 40% of the tanks you see on the battlefield.
Becuase they’re lvl1-9, and have less then 20 hours in this game. And they never improve cause their equipment is shit, so they just quit. And then new players come and quit, never getting good gear or getting good.
It kinda is. Though tunisia maps have combat that perfectly fits the starting carcano, so overall the equipment gap is less noticable.
Yet that only works short range, where the grb is made obselete, because of detpacks.
So I kinda only need it outside of detpack range, where i can’t seem to hit shit with it.

And if a fighter works againat both tanks and infantry, it’s better if it works only against infantry, but slightly better.

I don’t want to see both sides running around with the same damn guns, like they do in BF. Even while germans had captured guns, most of them still used kars, gewehrs, mps, etc.

Yak1 is a better plane, gets slightly worse bombs. BF-109F1 is a slightly worse plane, gets slightly better bombs.
The alternative would be giving the F-1 4x50kg and the yak either 2x100, in which case it gets both better bombs and anti-air, or giving it 2x50kg, in which it barely even gets bobms.

And most still will, cause most players are low level and these things are high level. Only a few players will have it and not all will choose to use it.
I gave you a whole explanation as to why planes are simply worse than tanks, so I have to make a choice between easily countering enemy tanks (well, 1 tank every 4 of my spawns) or having a vehicle that can actually do soemthing to change the outcome of the match. Honestly, your point would only be valid is f2p players could have 2 vehicle slots.
They are bots and newbies. Just look at the stuff they use. G33/40, kar98k, Mp28, MP38, kar98k with scope, panzer 2. That’s not what a high level palyer uses.
I had no problems using mp38 and still have no problems using bolt actions.
They have problems (mental ones probably) using mg34, pz4 or g41. Again, I don’t blame newbies. I blame ones who aren’t new to the game, and still refuses to do anything but sucking dicks. They even say how much they don’t want to do anything useful. “Do it yourself smartass”. That’s the problem.
Still, newbies are what I play with constantly.
Lik even if some later game players use these things, they’d use them differently.
You certainly wouldn’t use a 3 man squad with one sniper with a kar98 and 2 dudes with basic carbines. Or an assault squad with 2 dudes eith MP38s and, again, basic carbines.
These are the players which are most common on my team. I can tell they’re noobies.

Then you could enjoy the OP Mp40 as soviet, you could take the full advantage of slow rof & small magazine that magically makes you conserve ammo as its clear disadvantage for ppsh having high rof & big magazine.
Also the massive 0,2 more dmg at range.
