How is the ticket cost to spawn a squad calculated? It seems all over the place

I know tickets vary for some undefined reasons as of now, but the point is that vehicles cost just as much as infantry, and that shouldn’t be the case.

Ticket cost is per map as each map including variant usually have different amount of ticket

Why close the discussion when the entire point was that tickets make no sense. Of course you can say they are different, but my point is why they are different. Because it makes no sense that on one variant the cost is -8 and the other is -14, but only 1 objective is different

It simple it for balance reason

It still does not explain why the ticket drain is different despite the base ticket score being the same

I can explain that each team get a different modifier base on a set threshold of the ticket we take on each objective

If you want to learn more about ticket drain just up on the editor it easier to learn in that then in the forum

And a little reminder the type of mission influence a lot how the ticket work

It’s not about me learning about ticket drain, it’s about the current ticket system causing all sorts of issues to people and they may not even be aware of it. This is a screenshot from the replay with 7 tickets. Look what happened because of the small ticket drain : the 3 minute counter started when they still had 420 tickets. This causes a heap of problems for both sides. For the attackers it makes it super easy to attack if they have the right team, and for the defenders it gets super boring if the attackers are not doing the attackers and are not losing many tickets while sitting around

I don’t see a problem the weaker faction are rewarded for fighting a faction with better equipment and it seem that someone is camping with a tank

Amount of ticket gain / cap time has been universally standardize back then so that each team no matter which country gets attacking have the same ticket drain and for this map Myansera Map

But the dev have change the time for 20 that before it was 25 so it change a little bit the balance because some people was arguying 25 min was too long but it was a joke

Would you consider the USA army the weaker faction considering how many toys they have ?

Maybe because the USA don’t have the best playerbase to use the equipment

That standardization had only positive effects in my opinion. Players can more easily tell how many tickets the opposite team will get by capping a certain point. But maybe now it’s time for a ticket cost standardization

WHy? The system work percfectly right now so changing it would have more negative than positives.
