Strawman much? No one asked for 1:1 reality, but it should look extremely similar. What was the compromise when the devs made the Tenaru River map?
except… there are 3 stairways. the main ones at the front, plus two at each sides.
build a rally in the nearby apartment blocks, and storm inside the objective.
you can enter from the small windows too, or pick pick off some targets trough them.
It’s funny when a single guy has problem something with something others does not.
But whatever, keep insisting on your truth. It will change nothing anyway.
There are only two stairways in Univermag. Only one of them leads up to the upper floors and the ground floor, while the other only leads to the ground floor. There is only one way to the upper floor. I have taken screenshots of the game to show you:
At the actual Univermag, there are three stairways on the first floor that lead up to the upper floors, according to schematics:
Basement:
First Floor (as well as upper floors):
Top Floor:
No matter how many points of entry you take to enter the building, there is only one stairway that can take you up to floors 2nd- 4th. There is no flanking if you want to get to the 2nd- 4th floors unless you have event paratroopers or premium paratroopers equipped. Do you understand my issue with this?
31 other people seem to have the same problem as me, which is a little more than one person.
ok
yes.
that is correct.
but… there’s a slight " issue ".
you don’t have particular reasons to go upstairs.
even as a defender.
it might grant you some initial advantages, but if the enemy storms the position, you’re somewhat damaging your own team by not going on the objective.
i guess the same would go for attackers.
but they don’t really have much of a choise.
i see.
and i guess i would share the same " worries ".
except… once again, you don’t have any reasons to go at the upper levels.
after all, it’s enlisted. you fight over a bunch of houses, or, in majority of the cases, on a single level.
and as far as it goes for the objective inside the univermag,
there’s literally only one placed in the middle.
where going over the other staircase are located can help attackers to flank and attack from behind. ( as long no tanks are sitting there )
however, it could aid mods.
and you did made a thread if not mistaken.
either try to repost it, and they’ll might listen.
after all, they were looking to improving maps.
i just… wish you luck.
31 people believe Stalingrad lacks forethought and detail. 31 people want to see this changed.
People pack their squads on the second floor when it is point. When it is not the point, they use it as a stronghold to lock down the streets. If I want this to stop, I need more access to the upper floors so I am not funneled into a kill zone.
not really.
31 people liked your post because highlights inside enlisted, how few maps of stalingrad we actually get to play.
no offense.
but that’s… extremely rare.
nothing that an ampoluette behind some building can’t solve though.
or… flamethrowers… grenades, dumping HE with 75mm tanks etc.
It’s not for me
Game is just trashly oversaturated and colorful. Totally detracts from the gritty and brutal nature of war. Normandy, for example, is a neon green hellscape that looks straight out of an episode of teletubbies.
Why didn’t the devs just do it themselves then?
I guess that’s just what they do prefer.
How?
idk if you have settings ingame, but you can always tweak colors in nvidia/amd control panel.
So the point still stands. You can’t edit the settings within the game. It’s about as useful as telling me that you can tweak the colors by applying a pink translucent film over your computer screen and telling me that you can make the game look pink…
no it doesnt. color correction is quick and easy. it requires couple of seconds to fix colors if you find them bad. you just open nvidia settings that are in your system tray and select adjust video color settings.
also if you have e.g. nvidia overlay you can make settings for every game individually from that game. enlisted is supported for nvidia overlay.
iirc you can have custom profiles for color/gamma correction on amd cards (been couple of years since i had one) with shortcut keys for specific profiles(so you can switch between game and system color settings).
