There seems to be a bit of confusion about how base XP is calculated lately on this forum.
It can’t be figured out from the leaderboard scores. That board only tallies point for awarding “Battle Hero Awards” and Battle Hero Multiplies.
I just finished a game, added lower level squads with BA rifles because of the tasks just added for the current Event.
Attached is a video that illustrates where “Base XP” comes from.
The only line that matters for each soldier as I mouse over each is “Experience Base” If you add each of these from each soldier that was in the battle…Bingo, an exact match with the “Base XP” amount shown at the top of the leaderboard. From that point, BP Boosters, Premium Battle XP and Premium Squad XP is added…then any Battle hero modifiers are applied.
Hope this helps.
Cool, but some dudes got 0 score and still got xp, some more than dude with actual score, so it’s still gaijin magic
It would appear that the “Time in battle” great affects the “Experience Base” regardless of score.
This was posted to help explain where “Base XP” comes from, not to fully explain the entire formula behind it.
Speculate part
Each squad will share a certain amount of base XP. So, if some soldier’s died early in that squad, he would still get very high XP.
The death caused by homicide has a significant amount of experience.
It is currently uncertain whether the XP grows linearly or logarithmically with time. If the latter one is true, it is not recommended to keep alive for a long time within one time.
XP from destroying a vehicle is very high.
I am trying to collect info on that from taking notes of all my games but could only analyse it after january.
