Maybe it sounds absurd, but after playing a lot in Moscow campaign, I think the performance of the famous PPSH41 is exaggerated. it doesn’t have advantage over M39 at close range because the M39 has more powerful bullets, at the same time, it doesn’t have advantage over MP40 and MP35 when firing in a distance, for the power shrinks more quicker than the 9mm. As a high rank weapon, sometimes it even fails when fighting with the middle rank SMG such as MP40 even though the shooters fired almost at a same time, it is weird.
Anyway, in the real world, the 7.62mm Tokarev bullets has more kinetic energy when compared with the 9mm. Enhance the power of PPSH41 will make ENLISTED more real. So I suggest to enhance the power of PPSH41 only to 6.8 or 6.9. Make the power of PPSH,PPD40,and PPD34 different will also make more players to update their weapons and let them to spend more time on game. Maybe it will also make the GOLDS sell better.

Well, man , the power of ppd34 and ppd40 is already been divided. Besides, if I suggest all weapons using Tokarev bullets should be enhanced, probably some people will attack me on the Internet. My words is just a suggestion. Emm, PPSH41 is unlocked almost at the end of the line , why not let it performs obviously better than PPD40? If you don’t agree ,please just omit my reply ,thx.

Boosting ppsh41, or any other smgs damage arbitrarily is not a really good idea.
First, there’s no reason mp38 should do less damage than mp40, or first ppd do less than ppsh41. Devs did that in an attempt to balance things, but now bullet values are all over the place for different weapons.
Heck, take svt38 vs svt40… why does it have such a big damage difference???
Secondly, it’s nice and all to compare ppsh41 vs Kiraly… But it’s wrong. If you wish to compare it to it’s axis counterpart, do so with it’s same campaign lvl analog, the most useless campaign unlock in Moscow: the m38 beretta with only 20 ammo per mag. Even you should (I hope) admit that vs that, ppsh41 is more desirable…
The Kiraly is a much higher lvl unlock and while it’s bullet are indeed a lil bit stronger, it’s also very inaccurate as it has a lot of recoil (compared to all other smgs)
So. Ppsh41 is not a bad weapon, not in the slightest.
- Tip: do NOT HOLD the trigger while using ppsh41. Instead, repeatedly “tap” the trigger. Try this and notice how it’s suddenly easy to fire at targets mid range accurately.
Note: to not offend lil corgy mains, ppsh41 weak because drum mag, fires too fast! Mp40 much stronger cause .2 more damage, axis op please nerf QQ!
The eeal thingy is that the MP38 shouldnt be better than the Mp40.
It’s like the beretta m1 vs mp40 situation in Tunisia. M1 is much better, and cheaper, than mp40… yet unlocked before…

True, 0,2 damage is over the top OP, and also the reason why Soviet mains suffer in Moscow. (They should nerf all axis smgs by removing a good 3.0 damage to compensate)

The thing is though that both are being compared as “universal SMGs”. Neither is good in all situations! The soviet SMGs are good for really close quarters, but garbage at any kind of distance. Meanwhile, the Axis SMGs are far superior at the more mid-range type of engagements, while not being as strong up close.
So even though the mag size of Axis SMGs are smaller, they hit harder, further, more accurately, and have a faster reload.
The only problem with the Soviet SMGs, is that due to the high fire rate, the game seems to have trouble keeping track of the bullets, as it seems half the bullets in the gun are blanks!
Ofc! Axis is op. Like I said, 0,2 whole damage… that’s TWICE 0,1 added togheter… they hit way, way harder! (They have identical dispersion with Soviet smgs, except mp38, but it’s axis bias!)

Because drum magazines smgs Soviets have are garbage (because they WASTE “gasp!” Bullets!), I propose to nerf axis even MORE than I suggested earlier (slash 3,0 damage from all axis weaponry), by only allowing mp28 and beretta m38 20 ammo for the germs.
This will make Soviet pve experience more bearable and pleasant.

In all seriousness now, it baffles me how Soviet mains can complain so much about this smg that is honestly great (I love using it, and spam it when facing mkb42h). In pretty much ALL ww2 games out there, it’s equivalent is stg44, no joke. And those games, like both Red Orchestras, were balanced to perfection.
It’s something I won’t understand I suppose…
mp38 should be better than mp40 only in the terms of cosmetics and looks, which noone would care about
the mp38 should weigh 4.7kg in total (with the magazine), while the mp40 should weigh 4kg (with the magazine)
mp38’s weight would of course make the soldier and the gun perform overall worse in terms of mobility
Sligthly better recoil for worse ADS time and weight.
Technically the thing should also cost more bronze order.
For real now, Guardian. Is 0.2 or 0.4 more dmg worth 2,5 times less ammo?
Is 0.02 dispersion worth it?
Is 0.6 reload time worth it?
The Mkb/ StG is even worse than the Fed in almost all stats except reload time and five more bullets?
