Tanks can spawn in at the same time as infantry, no time delay between infantry and tankers.
Planes can spawn a minute after the first soldier touches the ground… or close to 60 seconds.
Remember when planes used to not have this restriction? Now those were the days, right?
- But honestly, having that be a timed delay was a great move by the developers. Spasibo.
Tanks on the other hand have no restrictions beyond only two at a time from the current side.
- So I propose a system that probably many people have thought of but couldn’t word down.
Player score should directly be taken into account before the player could spawn in a vehicle.
- And the exact score rates can change, these are spit ball numbers for a specific theory.
In order to spawn in a tank, the player score would need to be 1000 and a plane would be 2000.
- Thes theories goes as “what if Enlisted was truly boots on the ground in the beginning of a match? what if players who aid their team were then given the opportunity to spawn in a vehicle? what if vehicles of it in themselves, are the reward for being a good team player?”
I see a couple of issues with an idea such as what if it is a premium vehicle. What would happen if it were to bypass this restriction solely because it was a paid item? How would players react on paying for something and not immediately being able to use it? And a few other little concerns…
But regardless, having something to this effect can make the beginnings of every match more skill focused and POSSIBLY teach newer players that being boots on the ground is the only true way to advance a game… since you know, every objective is only BOTG to even capture/progress?
On scale of 1-10, I give this hot take a 7 for being an idea that could work with the mechanics.

Is a combined arms game i can understand if you need 150 for a tank 100 for a figther and 300 for a cas, for regolate their spam
But
1000 and 2000? This is the whole score of a classic enlisted match for an avarage player, is cutting the possibility for use them to almost the 99% of the playerbase

150 is like a squad wipe not including objective defend or attack bonus lmao
I’m calling cap on this since even in custom games, a player would need at least 500 score to even be considered to earn experience if it was 5 people to play it.
1000 score is the average a NORMAL player should be making every 7 minutes or so. And for invasion being roughly 30 minutes, do the math on the rest of the time such player would be able to then spawn in vehicles with a system such as this.
Hell, take this random image here. Obviously it was against all bots, but the point is my teams top 5 would have been able to spawn in a vehicle with a system in place like this.
And for number 5 specifically, they only got 15 kills with some on objective kills.
If the average player can not get 15 kills from an average invasion match… then all hope is lost.

I for one see where you are coming from, HOWEVER, tanks are often needed to help push up on the objective. (Believe it or not some people actually do leave the greyzone.)
Planes are often needed to create an opening for infantry to push.
Removing their usage even further would make Enlisted that much more like CoD or Battlefield, and that is NOT a good thing.
That said, I understand that you are trying to figure out a way to limit bad player’s usage of critical team resources. However, I don’t think this is it.

I think you misread my entire point of the post, but I am always this person to push into an enemies gray zone in a tank lol.
And 1000 score isn’t anything difficult. Just get an average of 15 kills to get the ability to spawn one in. Make the first capture of every game more BOTG focused before more elements come into play, a more dynamic experience as you would.

makes me giggle when enlisted players pull out the ‘muh COD/BF’ line, when they’ve obviously played neither

Because everyone is in the same BR interval.
But In Enlisted, I pity newcomers having to accumulate points to spawn their pz2 then facing t34, or Stuarts vs tigors…
Their tanking experience will last very long milliseconds…
(Also selfish me will have less targets to bomb, tnt, Piat, or nuke with my own tank.)
So… even if I understand very well the suggestion and the “why”… it probably wouldn’t work.

What about new players getting HE clicked… WITH NO OPPORTUNITY to spawn bomber planes anymore to solve the issue?
Vets like us will spawn tigors as easily as before.
Newcomers won’t even be able to spawn starter bomber to counter it.
It would just help vets…
