Wow a tank kill probably you almost crash into the groud trying to do that you re at 259m while increasind altitude and how many bomb runs did did it take to be able to do to that kill and of course i suppose is in a open field map against an uncover tank if its the case probably a bad tankist at cover that wouldnt happen
Be a man, accept that maybe youre just not as good at flying it as you thought. Its a powerful plane. Its quite clear that no amount of screens of it doing what you say it cant is going to suffice.
If you cant make it work, fly something else (i suggest carpet bomb in the SB)
Look i can kill a plane using a ptrd doenst me it efdective against planes it makes capable but not efective
i know that SB is a great bomber that why i suggest to keep its payload or change with 2x500 kg
the thing rockets are way less effective than 100kg and cant be compared to how effective 250kg bombs are to every target and even less if you think that these 250kg bombs can be dive bombed with a pin point accuracy
while rockets have a disperse and unpredicitve horizontal trajectory
and still in some maps IL2 where space is close or there are buildings like monastery or pokrovskoe
where rockets can be blocked by buildings and burnt tanks
250kg bombs have a huge destruction radius if your tank is closer to 7-10 m 8/10 its gonna be destroyed even if there are some obstacles
I have a question for you if IL2 receive 4 x 100kg bombs will it become op?
or it just will make them efficient as JU88 at killing ground targets?
But you know you win, i prefer IL2 as it is ill just play tanks so more ground targets for my kill feed
even i propose to change to only 4 x 25kg bombs and 8 x RB-82 so IL2 players can focus on defending my tank against air targets while i can focus on killing braindead tank drivers

nice having air superiority and not getting bombed isn’t it. As far as I’m concerned (in the current state of the game) Russia has the best air potential line-up for air superiority followed by carpet bombing. Just requires good pilots. Gives the tanks room to breathe. In the current state of the Game Il 2 plus SB is the ultimate all round combo
they are working on loadouts for vehicles. So im sure the will be different bomb loads and ammunitions coming in the future.
as to your question it HAD 4 x 100 in CBT. they removed it.

I hope the Soviet players are happy now. Since the HE buff, the rockets have been dealing a lot lot more damage. The bombs might have gotten buffed too. Tanks don’t stand a chance at all.
Now IL-2 is better at dog fighting and is just as effective as Stuka at killing infantry. There is only so much infantry in an area that you can kill that 100KG and 250KG doesn’t differ really.
Anyone complaining at this point are just the shitters.
In the games current state, if it had 100kg bombs I’d choose it everytime over stuka. Does that make it op? Probably. Until plane HP is balanced or 20mm cannons wreck planes (not mag dumping,just a few good hits) IL 2 is damn strong and to buff it further would be funny. And keep in mind a buff to 20mm would be a win for il2.
Lol at make German planes as bad as Russians. You called me a wehraboo but I’m starting to think you are one of those Russian players at 3.3 BR in warthunder with their kv and t34 spam that still screw it up.

I-153 has more guns and great rockets , is clearly better than Hs 123

IL 2 Is far better at Air combat, Decent at ground attack, and armour, Stuka has a devastating ground attack and nothing else.

Yak 1 has same weapons but trades 2 bombs for waaaaaay more ammo than 109 f1 which makes it preferable as a fighter

I actually went and levelled up to fly the Russian aircraft to see your side of it and with only a few hours dominate in them. What does that say. have you flown German. Have you flown in a stuka and seen how helpless you are if the enemy decides to shoot you down.
And since you love historic references, that aligns with history pretty damn well. IL 2 often attacked formations Ju87s because the Ju87 couldn’t fight back effectively at all. (as well as being sent up as an air combat plane to cover the shortage of actual fighters…hmmmm)
