Darkflow has eviscerated Stalingrad and Bulge just so tanks and planes could work on those maps, however according to @Greyparrots darkflow also butchered the Pacific maps as well so it’s safe to say that all maps are unhistorical.
I suggest just copying the maps from Battlefield 5 because I’ve been told that they represent the locations correctly and since they’re based on historical locations, there shouldn’t be any problem with a 1:1 copy but if there is then just change a few things.
“bUt WhoreFag, mUh ulTRa fASt pACEd CoD cHAos” You’ll still have your fast paced lunacy if YOU BUILD A RALLY POINT!!! But since youll have to make a ~500m dash to the new point after every capture, the defenders can actually fortify their point so they won’t get pushed back 5 times in less than 10 minutes.
I have said they’ve screwed the maps when it comes to the Pacific because of how they built the maps and the fact that there’s no cover and people just drop bombs or rockets and nuke everything and that’s about it.
But overall I summon you @Ron_McKracker for you have studied documents and maps and DF maybe possibly accommodating for War Thunder players
Please no. Most BFV maps are some generic locations with no connection to anything.
I want iconic ww2 stuff like Stalingrad, Berlin, Normandy, Ardenes, Tobruk etc etc.
Like Oasis, Al Har, and Al Jabal farm? Regardless, copying and pasting from the battlefield is not very good, as there is little to work with in terms of the amount of battles featured.
