It’s been a year since the US paratrooper event and quite a few new players have joined since then. I was hoping that the “big event” for the 80th anniversary of D-Day would be a repeat paratrooper event.
Will there ever be one?

So they can get a 4th paratrooper squad?
Im sure even more people joined after japan got their only paratrooper as that squad was the very first para event squad.
But DF has favorites so IDK at this point if they will every get a new one.

wished for an event APC M3 halftrack… or… getting the m5 version as a tech tree and a 250 for the germans with the Rzhev update.
but doesn’t look like it.
and would prolly requite too many resources.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Sdkfz250, infact they could have released the funk version with the new radio squad for Rzhev
only if they are checked for passports after jump. 
They could’ve used the 11th Airborne Division for a US paratrooper event. Although they dropped in the Phillipines, it would still have been a good event squad.

Literally, I want to be able to have a German paratrooper squad, a squad, preferably where I would be able to change out the weapons that they are equipped with rather than a premium squad or an event squad, where the weapons are completely locked based on that squad.

It keeps the event squads exclusive to the people who participated in the event. I think that’s important, but something so broad as to say “US paratrooper squad” will be blocked behind an event is too far. There needs to be ANOTHER US paratrooper squad event for people who weren’t playing the original US paratrooper event.
That would be one way to approach it. Or they could just make an additional event squad (with something unique about it) available through an event.
I like the idea of having event squads come up on a somewhat frequent basis (maybe 3x per year??) but arrive with one soldier. Then through other events, you can unlock additional event soldiers to add to your event squads. It would give the team a fairly easy roadmap for “grand prizes” for events.

see I don’t really undestand why they can’t repeat, as long as they give out other rewards during such an event there can be plenty of encouragement to keep veteran players in and hook newer players; even GO weapon tickets are enough to encourage me… maybe have a 15k silver if you already have a squad.

Regular unlock Paratroopers are a must have, however to prevent spamming, the " jump" ability should get a cooldown timer similar to artillery strikes.
Paratroopers are excellent, even if they spawn in on the ground - to make sure they can still equip their custom loadouts, they should be able to gear up on ammo boxes.

Soviet: 1
Western Allies: 3
Western Axis: 2
Japan: 1
The US is the last one that should get another para event…

The japanese should get some sort of high-BR paratrooper event squad since it’s the only nation that currently lacks one.

“High-BR” Japanese paratroopers would be ahistorical. I’d rather the game retain some shred of authenticity

Doubling down by giving the Japanese paratroopers that they never had doesn’t help the situation.
I mean the '“situation” would be best improved by just making Enlisted II: this time using a buy-it-upfront model, or “new IP, Staring many of your favorite Assets!”…
what actually exists now is too far gone from any historical thing and might as well lean into 1946-1947 alternate history scenarios, particularly for the pacific theater.
