…I never said there was a high degree of authenticity. I simply think that the small little shred of authenticity that remains needs to be protected and “High BR Japanese paratroopers in the Pacific Theater” would be the final straw.
really you draw the line at this? and not at dozens of others inaccuracies? it really doesnt matter if japanese paratrooper has BA or type hei AR at this point for historical purpose.

I’ve already commented multiple times about those other historical issues you bring up. They aren’t relevant to a US paratrooper event so I didn’t mention them here
high BR japanese paratroopers wouldnt even be that ahistorical (more than any other paratroopers, nor compared to rest of the game), cause they wouldnt represent japanese paratroopers in late war, but just paratroopers equipped with high BR weapon cause every high BR weapon from japan is failed prewar prototype.
Nope we need actual free and unlockable paratroopers that you could unlock by playing normally not more time gated content. With each event game is getting less and less new player friendly.

Events are important to the health of the game. It keeps players playing. Gives players a reason to come back. Gives us something to look forward to. Gives noobs a chance to grab some useful gear earlier on. Events are important. I’m already looking forward to the next one.
