On such maps it is impossible to play with so many people, it is simply not interesting.
historical andys should be asking for 200v200 than
only due to the lack of historical/realistic representation of t34’s, and the game like mechanics
Historically it is a tank with sloping armor and a cannon that kills the Panzer IV in silhouette, as well as a low silhouette and high mobility. I don’t see any inconsistencies
Historically 40,000 t34s were destoryed to 9,000 panzers 4 made
some body lying, some where in history
i see inconsistencies
Even cheaper production and while the drums have theyr advantages its kinda mitigated with the fact that there were few as 1-2 mag’s fitting each ppsh.
Probably it often helps to hit where you aim at.
Eitherway, germuts made alot more use out of captured sovjet weapons than sovjets made use of germut weapons.
While the drum is heavy compared to stick mags, its also shorter which is rather relevant when you shoot in prone.
With ugly duckling such as 40 - 50 stick mags for KP31 it was rather unpleasant to use in prone.
While both have advantages & disadvantages I wouldnt count drums as inferior.
This was a problem with early versions, then drum magazines fit without problems.
Nope, it wasnt.
Sovjets never got the tolerances of mag wells & drum magazines to such degree that magazines would be interchangeable.
Idk about postwar weapons, if I recall sovjets didnt even make ppsh41 postwar.
Yes, many tanks were lost, but this was not due to duels with Panzer IVs, but due to pre-prepared positions with mines and anti-tank guns, tank ambushes, as well as the actions of later pz 5-6 tanks, which t 34 simply did not break through at a distance.
In the game on pz 4 you go to t 34 in the forehead at a short distance where both opponents know each other’s positions
However, this was exactly what happened, because otherwise the responsible producers would have been punished. After the 41st, drum magazines could already be used on any other PPSh. I repeat - the rams did not fit only in the early versions, this shortcoming was identified and corrected.
Here are the instructions of the 41st year due to errors in production.
Which probably was the reason why every PPsh left with 1-2 mags. Since the urgent need for weapons was by far greater than making weapons with interchangeable magazines with unskilled labourers.
Nope.
Yeah, it was identified in manner that each magazine had same serial number as the gun.
You wont find a single sovjet made ppsh with more than 1-2 drum magazines with identical serial numbers.
I repeat, this was only in early versions in 41.
Later all drum magazines fit other smgs
Yea, They had to make several million different drum magazines and submachine guns, lmao
I repeat, no it wasnt.
Sure you might find a ppsh with multiple mags, this is because each magazine is made with certain measures that varies.
So to find that 3rd magazine to fit in your ppsh you might have to go thru 100 magazines that doesnt fit.
For this exact reason each fitting magazine has same serial number as the gun itself.
And yes this is quite expected outcome when you dont have skilled labourers.
The whole argument about only Tiger tanks being able to stop T34s is nonsense.
Long Panzer IV and Stug guns were used and produced up to the end of the war, simply because those guns were more than adequate at defeating all allied tanks with the exception of heavy end war vehicles.
Panther and Tiger guns only purpose was to increase the effective combat distance.
Strategically speaking tank combat was always a matter of effective range, which the soviets knew, thus the whole argument that “Panther tank sucked” in close range combat, because its heavy frontal armor didn’t matter at close combat, neither did its superior weapon matter.
All ranged advantages german vehicles had are gone in the ranges we are playing in Enlisted.
The big misconception here is that the devs think that German vehicles sucked in close range, while Soviet vehicles shined in close combat.
No, in close city fights both sides had no advantage anymore. And considering that the soviets had many many more tanks in their arsenal, its obvious why they ultimately won the war.
or maybe it was due to the fact that the t34 has one of the worse situational awareness of any tank, and one of the worse driver view and commander viewing, one think that is not reflected ingame, due to the tiny maps
I just pointed out the tanks that the t34 didn’t penetrate, lol. I did not say that the pak 40 was a bad gun, I was just saying that most of the losses of the t 34 were due to tank and gun ambushes.
you might find that the soldiers of the red army did not like the drum mags due to the weight and would often choose stick mags over drum mags
You probably didn’t play T34 in the game)
In the game, its main disadvantage is the lack of a normal view of the commander, in front of you you can only see something with the help of a driver mechanic or gunner
