Upon further inspection I found the same problem appears on two more planes. (I don’t have full access to the Japanese plane tec tree so there could be more)

This is too bad.
It reminded me of my own childhood. I was building a diorama model to match a plastic model of a Tiger tank, and I wrote what looked like appropriate letters on a sign in the landscape. (Because I don’t understand German).
These strange letter-like things remind me of that kind of appropriateness.
Naturally, however, child’s play and game making are different. Such lax work should not be tolerated, and I am surprised that Darkflow took so little pride in their creation. As a Japanese, I am displeased.
I had hardly played any Japanese factions before and didn’t realize it.
They should fix this as soon as possible.
After doing the POST I remembered about my stupid IPhone. When I take a picture with my IPhone, the AI corrects the picture without my asking and generates a fake high resolution picture.
So, small letters are changed to mysterious symbols.
For example, this one. At first glance, it looks like Japanese, but even I, a Japanese person, cannot read these unknown characters.
I’m fed up with stupid Iphones and uncontrolled AI technology. And the characters in the OP look the same.
Perhaps Darkflow may have made the AI to hi-resolve low-resolution textures. And then the letters went wrong.
