Medic cant be added in old campaigns because they take the slot of assaulter 1 and medic are the assaulter 1 in new campaign

Just one thing? In the meantime the game as a whole is still missing a million things it needed to have at release, two years ago. A ton of small things and a couple of insurmountably big ones that only grow more insurmountable with each update. Including the “grind rework” probably needed to put medics in all campaigns.

Why the fuck you want medics over regular Assaulter I? Having medics fuck up the unlock tree of certain squads too where a medic replaces the assaulter.

I honestly prefer regular assaulter I than a medic which was problem in Stalingrad.

An assaulter only differs from a medic in that they can have a second weapon or a backpack. Which honestly is on par with the ability to heal more. I would honestly like to see a rework that allows assaulters to acquire medic gear for use, and opening up their perk list to also include medic perks. This way, you can have the assaulters if you chose, but can also have medics without a lot of extra grinding and changes to campaigns.

If they chose to make an assaulter a medic, both the box of medkits and medic bag are applied together, and sold together in logistics. 2 silver orders for “Medic Kit” only applicable to assaulters.

Why not just add Medics as a regular class

Literally just separate Medic I and Assaulter I. It should have been the case from the start.

Medics aren’t the only thing either, we’re missing the motorcycle squads too. Unfortunately the devs completely forgot Tunisia existed, so it might take a bit longer to see than it would be medics.

Basically the only way is a complete campaign rework from the ground up into a branching tech tree to say the least

Its the only way to add more content.

Like for ex. medics - youre not going to add them to level 39 for moscow now are you?

Or a Sdkfz 222 Scout car? The only way is to make these into more side grade unlocks, whom arent necessary for progressing, but if you want it, its there

Prolly a complete rework of the class is required if you ask me

Disable SMGs, and make them use rifles, so they dont replace assaulters.

Tier I SMGs (namely MP28 since its a second line SMG) and shoties are fine though

I am not certain about medics…
Save for post 1943 campaigns, Normandy and Berlin in this case - if the folks managed to make it in Stalingrad back in 1943, why not let them be in campaigns a year or 2 later?
But overall, I am not sure if medic introduction into the game is that meaningful - it is rather inconvenient to use what they are offering, and considering that most folks still tend to die from a 1 shot… eh…
