Here's a new idea to stop desertion let your own team have voice chat for communication

I leave my matches because some of them are lost cause or because there’s no team communication If team communication was implemented you can start scolding your teammates for deserting or try to get some sort of battle plan together because not everyone has time to type in the middle of combat.

And if anyone argues it’s so easy to type while you’re in middle of combat fine it may be for you but this game is too fast pace for most people to actually start typing in the middle of combat

New idea = suggestion, buddy

It has been suggested before many times, also by myself, but the general reponse was that it wont work.
Because of idiots and kids who will mess up the teamchat by screaming, swearing, playing music…
Such a shame.

Unfortunately I do not care I’ll take anything I do not want to be stuck with the AI to be the only people to comfort me other people need to suffer with me I am not suffering alone if I’m going to suffer to begin with

Teamchat would be great for the battles…I am all for it.
Perhaps the morons who spam the voicechat can be kicked (from the chat) after voting or something.

we can’t kick them we need Bodies to win battles not AI But I’m sure we can implement a mute button .

And team communication improves morale gives you a reason to fight for something instead of just fighting for yourself

People leaving matches because tehzy didnt invest anything in the Match.
Make it so that ppl have to invest in the match some sort of EP or such, and if they leave they lose some EP.
Or not lose but dont gain any.

That’s not gonna work in bad maps or conquest that no one likes or Death stacks

You are right !

this game lacks of communication between players in the same team , just look at “battlebit” they have a great system deal with it, if you dont want to hear someone’s voice for some reason, just simply press f1 then you can mute him even report him .

if you dont let players communicate to each other, they wont able to go teamwork or make friends in this game , this is how we lost our playerbase! so darkflow plz do something!

I’m going to share a secret with you, regarding a solution for decade old problem. It’s called a “mute” button, and it was implemented into games back when Call of Duty, Halo, and Counter Strike were all popular.

You wanna know what players did from 2000-2010, when Xbox micophone chat systems were entirely unfiltered?
Wanna know what we did when we encountered an annoying person on the microphone?

We. Muted. Them.
Problem. Solved.

But today… the whole communication system is shut down because of soy boys and snowflakes

biggest reason is need for moderation and banning. they would need to hire whole moderation team who would listen to voice chat reports and then decide if there is need to punish/ban someone. they are simply too cheap to hire extra team…

Not if DF informed all the players to simply utilize the “mute” button for the annoying, offensive, and/or the profane people who would abuse the mics.
Why would they need to create a team to moderate voice communications for a mature rated game?

I mean, they clearly don’t care about moderating offensive username/gamer-handles… so what’s so different about open communications? Are we not grown adults who are mature enough to mute annoying people? Or is everybody so emotionally sensitive and incapable of clicking the “mute button”, but have no issue with creating a big fuss to the moderators? (thus taking up their valuable time that could be allocated towards things that actually matter).

It would take less time to mute an annoying person, than it would to create a complaint to the moderators, and all their time required after. There can be an automated response for whenever somebody complains about microphone abuse, and the message says: “Use the mute feature”.

Problem solved.
Money saved.
You’re welcome :+1:

Why is everybody being punished (by not having open communications), on account of the small ratio of players who abuse the microphone? Just mute their annoying ass, and move on with life

Imagine saying “Ну всё, пиздец тебе!” on voice chat then desert the match due to bad team. This is not going to stop desertion, hell it may make things even worse.

We do not need moderators for voice communication that is what the mute button is for and if it was even added

If they understands what it means.

you must have moderation team cause it could easily break laws of some countries and get game legally liable if those players arent banned. you can even get deplatformed from servers (e.g. aws used no moderating excuse to ban parler). not to mention there are loads of languages and they would need people for all of them (or start banning people for speaking in non official language).

probably most of the players are underage kids.

you dont even have all text chat in the game and that is much easier to moderate with text filters, ffs you dont even have fully functional team chat cause console players cant see typed messages (i wonder what could PC player say to a console player)

So you’re saying that there’s no barrier preventing underage children from downloading/playing a violent WW2 game? And there’s no moderation by DF, in regards to players creating “offensive” gamertags?

But in the same breath, you’re also saying that we cannot have microphone communication or text communication between PC players and Console players, unless DF hires a full team of people who can collectively speak every language in the world? Entirely from the position of argument that there’s possible liability of a random player who says something against the law (in some country, somewhere)?

What happened to personal accountability?

How about creating a waiver of company liability, that each player must agree to before being allowed to play the game? So for example: Say DF enables full voice communication for Enlisted… But before a player can play the game, they must agree to DF terms of Liability, in the context of voice communication, what players say online, and the agreement that DF holds zero liability for the words and actions of other players utilizing the Voice chat/Text chat?

Therefore, if somebody says something that would be considered “against the law” in 1 of 195 countries in the world, DF would not be liable for fines and/or criminal prosecution. The only person who would get charged, would be the person who “said something” that was against the law (wherever they live).

Can I please have some examples for what types of laws someone can break, simply by speaking words? I mean, unless someone is threatening to kill/hurt another person, I cannot think of anything that would justify the removal of the entire communication system. Nothing to the extreme that a simple “mute” button won’t fix.
And even argumentive/hostile bickering via voice communications is typically nothing more than shit talking on the internet.

This meme  is an example of all forms of arguing that takes place from a digital screen. Both from the internet, and inside videogame lobbies. It’s just a bunch of young men full of testosterone, trying to see who has the loudest voice. Just hit the mute button, and it’s like they don’t even exist anymore.

only china has barrier to prevent underage children downloading/playing games (and even then they are bypassing that by playing on foreign servers). everyone else can easily download/play such games. you are not asked anywhere to prove your identity or age.

this is not about personal accountability. if developer gets report that someone is doing something contrary to ToS or laws of some country they can be liable if they dont act on that report in reasonable time.

lets say that someone is recruiting for some extremist group or if someone is glorifying nazism or if someone is reproducing copyrighted material. company can be held liable from court of public opinion, to legal court of whatever country they have servers in to ToS of their service providers (from ISP to server providers).

there is already section 230 in US law that addresses this issue, but that is not the case for every country. also you have cases like napster and cases like aws vs parler where direct non compliance with moderating their platform resulted in shutting down of their companies. no waiver will help them with this issue.

it is cute that you have this kind of thinking.

glorifying nazism, recruiting for extremist groups, calling for violence, discrimination, calling police horse gay (true story ), saying “woof” to a dog (also true story). it depends on the country and its laws. ffs some countries have “facebook” police that search for users that said something offensive on social platforms.

Wait what?
Can you share these stories?
These sound good.

Ok that makes sense.
Brittan has a TON of weird and outdated laws.
Here are a few more:

  • Being drunk in a pub: It’s illegal to be drunk in a pub
  • Jumping the queue: It’s against the law to jump the queue at a tube station
  • Linger after a funeral: It’s illegal to linger after a funeral
  • Handling salmon: It’s an offense to handle a salmon and look suspicious
  • Carrying planks: It’s illegal to carry planks along the pavement unless you intend to unload them from a vehicle
  • Flying a kite: It’s technically illegal to fly a kite in a public place
  • Knocking on doors: It’s illegal to knock on strangers’ doors and run away
  • Sounding your horn: It’s illegal to sound your car horn aggressively
  • Singing songs: It’s illegal to sing indecent, rude, or profane songs in a public place
  • Shaking rugs: It’s an offense to beat or shake your carpet or rug in the street in London
