Here are the reasons why halftrack are usefull and not pointless like you believe ( if implemented correctly )

If you are actively running out of ammo you are either a MLG player, in that case enlisted is not for you, or you are being inherited useless

d-day is such bad example of usefulness of half tracks. one tank can just OHK it with HE shell. specially cause it can overview of almost whole map from hill. it would only be useful as wreckage to shield advance of the infantry.

everything else is more effective on smaller ranges. half track will only be useful on bigger maps where there is longer distance between spawns and where you can hide half track better. on smaller maps it is exposed and engineer is just much more effective.

can still use the medical, piooner and/or weaponized ones if ammo makes you feel uncofortable or doesn’t suits your taste :woman_shrugging:

sure, make accusations based on projections of yours ( without actually knowing how i play this game :upside_down_face: )

way to go shoen.

way to go…

( speaking of lacking points :joy: gg )

you can avoid them.

or… avoid getting shot.

crazy, i know.

" will only be ".

ugh… no?

as long can do it differently, it still counts to be honest.

i guess enginner would be effective. but if he gets shots, or run out of resourches and ammo, here’s why halftrucks might save your bacon :woman_shrugging:

yes crazy… but in another way…

No.
It takes aprox 30s to get from the vehicle spawn to the cap point.
It takes 5s to build an ammo box by one engineer. So in the time it will take me to get APC to the destination, I’ll have at least 4 ammo boxes ready.

True. Personally I’d like the game to focus a bit more on survivability but that’s not how it’s designed (so zergrush run and gun with vehicles).

if you are dumb enough to use a tank willingly and knowingly when there’s a tank, that’s on you. not on the tools for not being able to do what they are not supposed to.

i guess i shouldn’t be surprised as y’all aren’t really teamplayes.

but think it more as like, low levels can support us high levels to keep doing our job efficently while increase teamplay and xp for them.

Still waiting for you to disprove my points

Medkit APC sounds just as bad as ammo one.
Pionier one can have some merit although imo 6 man engineer squad is better.

if the point gets captured and you have an halftruck, you can save that process and just park it behind the second objective.

so they don’t have to build the box again and can think about shooting.

use your :brain: please.

which it’s what i’m working for PVE as well ( mainly based about survivability and provide challenges).

and halfturks will make things interesting.

you are talking basically about worst map with absolutely no cover and saying that you can avoid getting hit on it? ffs you can only avoid getting hit if you are in spawn where there are sand hills protecting you. if you go 10 meters away from spawn tank will just OHK you.

more like, i did and you refuse to read.

not my problem.

i have nothing to prove you in your own fallacies.

so i guess keep waiting lmao

simple. i spawn with infantry, use smoke if i have to or deal with the tank my self and capture the point.

once the threats has been neutralized, i can use map knowledge to further support my team by not going in a tank’s throat and place it in cover relatively close to the objective.

Bruh, stop trolling

you have no idea of what is the difference is between a question and a statement.

i don’t think you know what trolling is.

so… way to go shoen… wayyyyyy to go…

You are happily assuming that the enemy won’t resist and you will survive your little trip. Whitch imo will not be a case as the pocket nuke exists.

You want APCs for PvE, that’s fine. But I want them for PvP and I don’t see them adding anyhing worth while in the current state of the game.

lol… that is why grey zone camping on d-day with tigers is such a not a problem. cause everyone can just use few smokes and neutralize the threat.

of course they can try and/or actually manage to destroy my truck.

but that’s on me.

it’s about understanding when to use it, or not.

the halftruck it’s just a tool.

FOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO USE IT AND WILL USE IT.

which… once again, that is false. if i have one, i would show you how it could be used.

even if you have a tank you wouldn’t be able to deal with it.

so… i don’t really see what it has to do with the halftruck.

( hence that’s why CAS exists )
