And many more would use them if they find out that can be upgraded to entire mechanized units which can support infantry just much if not more like tanks or airplanes.
I don’t see how they could hurt, if they were balanced and not OP.
It’s not really a deal breaker to me personally but e.g. SdKfz 251 is in my top-5 iconic vehicles of WW2 so I’d like it even if just for the aesthetics.

But it’s also just like the binoculars/flasks - I don’t think they really fit the current design of zerg rush human wave, but some people like them and they don’t hurt.
