So currently its sad to see the choice of weaponry on Moscow for the axis. Here I would like to propose the addition of existing weaponry into the Moscow campaign. Also yes i am aware that there are already weapons at these progression levels however it would be nice too see a multiple choice option on what you can research.
Submachine guns

zk-383 - Would be added at progression level 11
Suomi KP/-31 - Not sure what progression level this should be available at perhaps it could be obtainable at lower levels with low capacity magazines then obtainable at higher levels with the higher capacity magazines.
So there were quite a few different magazines for this submachine gun like a 20, 36, 50 round box magazine and a 40 and 71 drum. Also some could take modified German mp38/40 box magazines. Anyone have any idea what magazines were most commonly used around about the time of the battle of Moscow.

Mauser Schnellfeuer Model 712 (with stock) (20 rounds) - I am unsure if this is currently in game however it does show up on the weapons delivery list. Would be nice too see this early to mid progression.
Rate of fire for this would be around 900 rpm
Rifles
Gewehr 98 - would be available at level 13
vz. 24 Scoped - Someone recently suggested this and it would nice too see it instead of the pre war k98 or perhaps instead of the normal K98k scoped
Shotguns

M30 drilling - Perhaps add it too the Moscow campaign very early progression as it is on other campaigns
Light machine guns

MG-15 (75 drum magazine) - late progression - suggested by jojomaster420
Would like to know if there are any other weapons that would fit well into Moscow
Assault rifles

Maschinenkarabiner 42(H) - very late tier progression. suggested by Karl_Mengele

All of this, and the assaulters mkb42
But seriously I’d switch all my rifles for the amazing g98 if it wasn’t stuck in sniper role…

Not currently in the game as an infantry weapon, but maybe an MG-15 with 75r drum magazine as a machine gunner 3 weapon.

Yeah, i was talking about the modified aircraft machine gun. The same one as the one the Stuka had as it’s rear gun.

Most of the campaigns currently seem to be mostly bots game seems to be lose more players with each large update.
Just give Suomi at a certain mid lvl to finally counter spam.
i think it would be too much like a ppd and factions would feel the same. since it would obviously become the best axis smg, the meta would be ppd/ppsh vs finnish ppd (and i would honestly prefer ppsh v mkb for asymmetrical balance)
was given to pilots (mostly in north africa) in case they needed to defend themselves from wildlife. germany didnt really use shotguns for infantry
pretty sure this is the aircraft mg right? seems unlikely they would be used on the ground as early as moscow. i guess its plausible (i am to lazy to research), but would probabaly fit better in berlin or something
everything else seems pretty good to me

this wouldnt help with the fact that allies get the ppd 34/38 with 71 drum magazine since level 11. a smg that is basically the same than the later versions. in imo, its the best of them all. easy to get, easy to upgrade and just spam. meanwhile all this weapons if they get added are going to be level 32 or more. not worthy.
well currently, if they even give M38 the 40 round mag it would be best smg of germans.
Rof + capacity pretty much outshines every other attribute.
Cant really figure a single map where mid-long range infantry weapons would be dominant.
As current meta pretty much favors the CQC zergrushes, there hardly is anykind of
balance / ass-ymmetrical balance.
So I dont see reason to not add kp31 to give proper counter to current cqc.
Especiatly if its added to end game campaign levels, would be rather rare counter to current ppd / ppsh spam.
Interestingly enough when I learned you could remove some scopes, the first Gun I tried was the Gewehr 98 because its such a classic Infantry Rifle for Germany.
Maybe 9 person Premium Bolt Squad? I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

I mean, you won’t have to use it. And I myself would prefer it, as it’s both a very nice gun and a gun that was actually produced in large quantities, and not another regular unlock prototype.
I know there were quite a few modified for this, though you are right it was mostly done later on.
I simply think it’d be nice, cause it’d be a unique gun to give the germans for mg gunner 3 instead of just another mg34.

I will stick to moscow since it is relevant to the conversation
Quarry is a infamous long range dominant map.
Monastary, specifically the castle part, favours mid to long range most places with a few spots of cqc
Forestry, healthy mix of alot of mid range, quite a bit of long range (a fuckton of long range on the second point depending on the match) and some cqc in the capture zones
Beloe lake invasion has a fuckton of midrange and some long range, with the usual spots of cqc in the cap zones
Fortified district invasion favours mid range overall with quite alot of long range (but cqc is still usefull some places)

I thought the same thing apparently it was used by ground units though hence addition of a bipod and stock.
But damn the thing had like 900-1000 rpm >w>
Yea good point is odd how its in other campaigns usable as infantry its a nice thing to play with though even though its not the best.
Yea good point however it would be nice to have something different to use on the German side other than the same german MP submachine guns and italian M38’s. Also with the Suomi KP/-31 there are quite a few different magazine sizes so it would be nice too one variation of it on the German faction at some point even if it is not the 71 round drum magazine.

Oh yeah i knew it was used. I am just a bit unsure if they were used as early as moscow, as i am pretty sure that they were used out of a lack of mg34/42 and/or desperation (i might be wrong tbf but thats my impression). still it would be a cool weapon to have there
It shouldnt really be in berlin either imo.
But who knows, they kinda threw all they had at the soviets at that point so they might have had some laying around.

ah feck >w< good point
I have the gold mkb and its interesting to use. Quite nice to use something different
Mainly i just would like other stuff to use other than the MP38/40 and MP28 early on as you don’t get the MP35 until level 26.
Its a pretty big gap between the mp40 (level 11) and the mp35 (level 26) other submachine guns should be available between these levels. As much as i like the MP38/40 it gets rather repetitive using them over and over between all the campaigns.
It would be easy to add other submachine guns to make playing the axis a lot less boring.

Completely forgot the gold order gun was also called mkb lol. Nah i want Mkb(h) for assualters.
Is it historically accurate? Probably not.
Am i kinda biased? Yes.
Do i care? No.
Mkb(h) for assaulter would be sick and i am willing to sacrifice my firstborn for it
