Guerilla improvement

:warning: read everything before posting

  1. Switch TNT to device by using the left click mouse (kinda global but just guerilla can really enjoy it)

  2. Add a side map specials spawn for guerilla units, they will spawn with enemy uniforms who:

  • disallow enemy bot to fire at you and your bot for first, before you open fire or an enemy player attack you**

  • Your squad is forced in passive stance as default with this special spawn, so it avoid your bot fire their gun and make the enemy discover you

  • Let guerilla squad able to go in the enemy gray zone for Unlimited time

  • (Optional) In case the guerilla squad dressing enemy uniforms are discovered in enemy gray zone, it would be fun if they are marked on the minimap as long they are in the gray zone

2.1) the number of guerilla squad who can use this spawn and use enemy uniforms is capped to two per team

2.2) all the other guerilla squad will spawn as normal infantry with their basic/purchased clothes

2.3) guerilla squad who spawn as normal squad can stay in the enemy gray zone for just 15s without losing health

  1. improved Costumization:
  • Civilian and military clothes in the shop

  • Armbands as on/off equipment in the costumization

  • Option to have no helmet or hat

  1. allow Normal spawn squad guerilla squad to use neutral vehicles (car, truck, boat)

  2. change their special pouch to a perk:

  • by leveling The perk they get more ammo from recovered enemy gun from the ground

  • if the perk isnt leveled they get just the same ammunition that normal soldier get doing the same

For what? I can just picture Japanese samurai running around in American uniforms and trying to look like locals.

Because is a common military tactic dress like the enemy behind their lines and don’t get discovered… Well if they are so stupid to run with katana an get discovered is their fault at this point

I think the problem is not that he has a katana. It’s that he’s Japanese. They have different faces. This mechanic is too complicated, but our game is too casual.

Is just give them enemy uniforms and make them unable to be get shotted by enemy bot first, is indeed necessary let normal player spot them from short distance

just tell them not to shoot. There is a special command. If your bots don’t shoot, then the enemy bots don’t either. Or they shoot rarely.

I fail to see how tell enemy bot don’t shoot me…

For all the route to main spawn to the enemy gray zone, especially if I can kill enemy gray zone tank or defense emplacement faster with a plane or another infantry squad

Don’t really like it. Being dressed in enemy uniforms is just wayyyy too big of an advantage to the guerillas and would just lead to confusion.

Plus, guerillas actually fighting in the enemy uniforms would be a war crime so maybe not.

Ah… Tell this this all the special forces soldier wh did this and still do this , also dressing enemy uniforms was something done even before the classic age, with soldier dressing armour and enemies color for sneaking among them

Agreed.

Also my understanding was enemy uniforms were only used for specific small operations like to get close to a fuel dump or ship to blow it up, to kidnap a German general, get close to learn general information/study an enemy base etc.

Guerillas and resistance fighters didnt just run around in full enemy uniforms fighting like regular soldiers (partly because as you mentioned its a war crime. Plus you run the risk of being shot by your own side)

“Sorry sir, I did not see the white flag” (we’ll see who gets that movie reference. Hint: it’s set in the desert war)

I strongly believe guerillas should be able to use generated vehicles and also strongly disagree that this would be an unfair advantage. Especially on larger maps vehicles are necessary otherwise you waste ages trying to get closer.

The whole point of guerillas is entering the grey zone and flanking. Its rather difficult to do that when you have to spend half the match just getting to the frontline. Also note Pacific maps boats are often required in order to flank effectively.

I agree with more customisation and making the Australian and Japanese guerilla uniforms freely available for all squads. (I understand limiting civilian clothes to German/Soviet guerilla squads).

Indeed the huge issue is walking to the main spawn to the enemy gray zone, one of the motive is so hard is because for avoid exploit and spam, but i think should be easy and faster but limited to just two players at time

I like this because it reminds me of the levels the complete saga when you could put stormtrooper helmets on to disguise

the whole disguise stuff should be reserve for a spy class instead it a 1 to 2 person squad with silence weapon only it would work better tbh

Are you really saying that because war crimes happen in real life, we should have them in enlisted too?

Well, that’s certainly a take.

Just to be clear:

It’s illegal to fight in an enemy uniform.

It’s not illegal to use an enemy uniform for infiltration.

So to make your idea feasible, the enemy uniforms would need to change automatically when you aim your weapon. But that would be some team fortress level bs.

Or we need an uniform change animation and functionality before the guys are allowed to fight.

Otherwise it’s a war crime.

Ps. I think for the same reason it seems to me you cannot shoot at parachuting pilots (war crime) but you can shoot parachuting soldiers (not a war crime).

you can shoot pilot while parachuting down tho i did that with the jap since it pretty realistic (and maybe russian but im not sure if they do that)

You can shoot disarmed soldier already and pilot bailing out with parachute, so your own reason here have 0 weight aganaist what I’m suggesting if you don’t like it is something I can understand but not in the way you are telling it

Two wrongs don’t make it right, that’s not really an argument of any merit.

But, it’s fine - i don’t like the idea in general (as pointed out in the first post).

Guerrillas are fine as they are.

I can understand it, nothing can be liked by everyone

I’m more oriented to the old medal of honour with long sequence dressed as German and going around doing stuff

We already have soldiers wearing enemy uniforms in the game, m10 ersatz tankers.
