I bought this game so me and my buddy on xbox could play together. Come to find out we can’t party up.
If I have to use controller I will but I want to be able to play with my console friends.

too many console peeps do not grok the power of the K/B & M. They think that PC gamers are all cheaters simply because we have more precise controls and do not need to rely on auto-aim-assist.

No, it is a much memed thing, but it is factually not true, if it was, then people would not be using them interchangeably and there wouldn’t be professionals choosing to use controllers.

That’s right, I forgot about autoaim. The reason why there is such a dispute between the console players and PC players.
If anything they should make it so you can disable it for the people who don’t want crossplay.

Which one is it? So, pc is forced to use controllers but you don’t want console players to have the choice to use KB/M?

Crossplay needs to be enabled by default for all platforms. If you don’t want to play crossplay, turn it off. If you only want to play with people using the same input device, there needs to be a toggle for that as well.
Two toggles. One for crossplay On/Off(If you turn it off you are stuck playing with people only on your console) and one toggle for “Only match with players using the same input device.” Give PC players the choice to play with console players using a Gamepad and give console players the ability to use a M/KB if they want. No one is forced to do anything and you have toggles available to customize your crossplay experience.
I’m really tired of this whole “PC players have an advantage over console players.” Bad console players use this same song and dance for every crossplay game and it limits the audience and frankly the enjoyability. Firstly, the aim-assist in this game is some of the strongest I have ever seen. You aim towards someone and it snaps to them. Second, an average gamepad user will beat an average kb/m user a lot of the times given aim-assist is implemented. The only reason people have such a hard on for “PC gamers are better” is that a lot of the biggest twitch streamers are gods at FPS’s. You complain that KB/M is too easy to play with and it gives you an advantage. Use it and tell me how easy it is. I have a bunch of friends on consoles and every single game we are able to play together makes that experience that much better.
Gaming is about bringing communities together and sometimes raging at idiots online. Crossplay is the future of gaming. If you don’t like playing with people on other platforms then don’t. Developers should always add the option to disable crossplay AND add a toggle for using only the same input type.
Enlisted will probably be grindy(already is), will probably be P2W(already is slightly), but right now, this game is BF lite with great potential. Crossplay will only solidify that potential(until BF6 comes out at least and hopefully has crossplay.).
Quick edit: Gaming has been about exclusivity for so long. Now that crossplatform gaming has sprouted out it should be more about inclusivity. It benefits the developers(more people to buy because your limiting factor isn’t just a single platform). It benefits the players(playing with more people/keeping games alive longer, being able to play with friends on other platforms/Saves money). If you don’t like crossplatform gaming don’t partake, but don’t let your shit takes hinder the enjoyment of other players. Options and choice are good for gaming.

This just makes you look really bad. Yes there is the ‘PC Master Race’, but that is because a PC is just objectively better for everything, it isn’t simply a gaming platform now with some media controls, it enables you to do literally whatever you want and upgrade at your own will one component at a time. The Master Race stuff is about that, not that PCs are inherently better for gaming though the experience is arguably better since you have better customisability.
But generally PC gamers are happy to have people playing on console, we just love people playing games and want a community, hence crossplay etc.
Your rant screams of an inferiority complex like many console gamers unfortunately despite it being your choice and not that different.

You’re right. Guilty as charged. But just to be clear: Crossplay itself is not the issue here. (I had it activated the majority of the time it was in the game. Also my brother is on PC and we were planning on playing the game together, too.) What IS an issue is statements like “well just get m&k then”, “can’t beat 'em, join 'em” or simply “bruh, gid gud”. There have been enough examples throughout multiple threads. Statements like these are as little a help as my rant above.

They’re not saying “just get m&kb”. They’re saying ADD m&kb support. Because both piss5 and sexbox don’t have it.
Also git gud is a very valid response and only bad players get upset about it.

Lmao just shows you don’t know how the game works, all of the people without marks near them are the same platform as me and you can see I am from xbox, what means there was one PS guy in this game
