Idk maybe its just thanks to HA guys that devs didnt want to give a proper BR 4 tank like Chi to to fill that slot.

100% Agree, Alot of the stuff Japan has or get’s is insanely weird to me.
Like the type HEI with 10 rounds being GO, The late being a GO, And both being IV.
while the one with FIVE rounds is b.r II and used to be B.R III
I get a feeling the devs have zero clue what to do with Japan, Japan doesn’t need GO weapons but they keep giving them GO weapons.

Also to top it off:
Chi-ha short gun vs Sherman 105mm.
The short gun is basically in all ways worst then the Sherman.
1: Has no turret MG, Only a commander and hull one.
2: Is B.R III the same as shermans which it has an insanely hard time killing. Hell even the M3 lee/grant is basically death.
3: It is so slow over all and feels so underpowered.
4: It can only kill Light tanks.

Meanwhile the 105mm can basically one shot every japanese tank it sees or finds due to weak armor/open top.
It’s so stupid that the US begs for stuff like that then says Japan doesn’t need stuff as I’ve had a few guys tell me “Japan is so strong! Japan is full of good players and doesn’t need anything!”

bruh the IS3 didn’t get put into the soviet army until after WW2 ended, the only time it showed up was in the Victory parade in 1945. by then the war had ended.
